Look, I'll get straight to the point. I was posting over on the American soccer subforum under the handle markozzz (this is actually a clone account since my main has an extra 'z' at the end), and I got banned for "trolling" by moderator Tijs. When I went to file an appeal, I realized that while banning me, he also stripped away my access to the Messages, Complaints, and Comments section altogether.Every time I log in as markozzz, that specific section is nowhere to be found, which means I can't even submit an appeal regarding the ban itself...
I want to know if this is actually allowed. If a user gets banned—which, in my opinion, was totally unfair and just because I argued that the local pro team should be privatized (that's a legitimate debate, not trolling!)—is it legal to block them from filing an appeal by hiding the complaints forum? Everyone should have the right to contest a decision. I don't see how moderator Tijs has the authority to wipe out my access to the Messages, Complaints, and Comments area; when I log in as markozzz, that entire section is completely invisible to me.
I had to set up this backup account just to figure out how to push back, because what happened feels like a total setup. If anyone could shed some light on this, I’d really appreciate it.🤷
