R. L. Stine's Fear Street Trilogy (2021)

Well, this caught me completely off guard. Looking back, his books were some of the very first ones I actually picked up on my own as a kid and a young teen. I still remember getting Weekend in the Wild as my first real gift from my mom for my birthday. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that they don't mess up the series.

I absolutely loved reading those books, so I am seriously hyped for the trilogy😍

I grew up with a ton of his books on my shelf—honestly, I'm actually looking forward to this one.

Fun little books, sure, but I wonder if they actually still hold any weight today.

I see they're popping up everywhere lately, but I've been doing my best to steer clear

Honestly, even here in the States—like, in those massive book collector groups on Facebook—people are still hunting them down and flipping them like crazy, so I’m guessing they’ve still got some serious pull overseas too.😁

I’m honestly curious about how they’ll handle Part 3. Are we looking at some time travel gimmick, or just a standalone story?

The acting in Part 1 was pretty rough, almost amateurish. Of course, you've got the main gay couple and guys with manicured nails.
I expected more, but it was just predictable and messy..

The opening really gives off major > vibes, but then they just pivot straight into an emotional deep dive about who hurt whom. 🤦

The soundtracks in these movies are honestly killer—think Iron Maiden, Nirvana...

I guess I liked the second one a bit more, mostly just because of the setting. The script was still pretty weak, though. 😁

Yeah, if you ask me, this whole thing is just teenagers bickering for the sake of it. It’s all empty noise. 4.5/10—IMHO, I stopped watching after the first 15 minutes.

Skip the line and get straight to the good stuff! 👍

When I sat down to watch
, my first thought was basically, "Ugh, here we go again—just another piece of recent cinematic trash..."
In the end, it turned out alright—nothing groundbreaking, really—but it was a fun enough popcorn flick if you don't mind stuff that's a bit mindless.

The second installment was also okay, maybe even a little better than the first one.

Anyway, it’s still better than Black Widow, or that A Quiet Place 2 mess, or whatever other garbage I've been dragging myself through lately...

Honestly, it's better than Tenet or Prometheus, damn lol.

I just sat through Part 1, and honestly? It’s a disaster. Easily one of the worst things I’ve watched in a long while—and I watch a lot of trash. It isn't scary in the slightest, the characters are all incredibly grating, and the script is just pure nonsense...👎 Save yourselves the trouble and skip it...

The third installment only feels that way because the first movie was easily the best of the bunch—the ending was pretty predictable, I guess.

All in all, it’s a decent trilogy.

I haven't actually read the books, so I can't really make a comparison.
