We’ll just have to wait and see which team actually nails the logistics when the real pressure hits. ☕

🤣

Don't get ahead of yourselves—it's not like Webber is going to pull some miracle move in China and jump fifteen spots through the field. It’s just not happening. ☕
It’s ours to share. 🙂

Mark Webber has better odds than this crew currently sitting ahead of Sebastian Vettel.🤣
Maybe we should try using the same "strategy" they used for Sebastian Vettel in Abu Dhabi...

Just start from the pits on mediums with a car fast enough to overtake...
Throw in two DRS zones for three or four laps and you might actually find yourself ahead of Lewis Hamilton.😁

Sorry Bernie, when are we seeing that penalty for Kimi Räikkönen?

Maybe we should just apply the exact same logic used for the mess with Sebastian Vettel in Abu Dhabi to fix this specific issue...

A pit lane start on medium tires with a car tuned specifically for overtaking...
Add two DRS zones into the mix and you’d probably find yourself ahead of Lewis Hamilton within three or four laps anyway.😁

word 🙂

They dumped everything into qualifying this time, which means they're definitely going to be slower during the race than usual...
This time Ferrari won't have the best car on the track, and considering they'll get stuck in traffic after just a few laps, that's not exactly a huge win either...

Red Bull's tactics were spot on and Sebastian Vettel is in a great spot. The only issue is Jenson Button, who needs to be dealt with right at the start, then a win is basically in the bag.😁

But man, Red Bull really screwed up with Mark Webber, that's no small thing.🤦
And word is Vettel's brakes gave out too.🙂
Looks like someone might have been messing with each other's cars.😬 🤣

BTW, these tires are an absolute disgrace.👎
This isn't qualifying, it's embarrassing... just wait until we see what happens in the races when they bring out the supersofts.🤦

MDA... I mean, if your brakes are failing, the pit wall tells you to "save fuel." Brilliant.

Just when I thought I had all the racing codes figured out, they throw another one at me. image

It'll be over once Fernando crashes and burns at the start.😬
Kimi really needs to land himself a contract at Red Bull Racing. 🤣

Mark Webber ran out of gas, while Sebastian Vettel claims his brakes gave out. 🤣

Is Vettel saying his own brakes failed, or was he talking about Webber's? I didn't quite catch that part 🤔

He’s out here claiming the pedal just gave up on him...

Since when did he become an expert on what went down with Mark Webber? 🤷

Surrender? Please. We’ll be celebrating Multi 12 by the end of this race.😬
And let's not forget that lovely "f*** you" message Mark Webber sent to Christian Horner.😂

Honestly, I think the big boss needs to hire a psychiatrist just to keep an eye on Horner's mental state.😬

And I just have to wonder... which absolute genius over at McLaren decided it was a brilliant idea to send Jenson Button out on a tourist lap with a 2:05? 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Red Bull Racing is probably taking a massive beating right now. McLaren absolutely tore them apart. 🙏

Red Bull 🤦 🤦
Some folks might say there was some kind of outside interference at play here. Either way, that qualifying session was a total disaster.

My bad—I'm an idiot and misread your post; I thought you were saying he claimed Webber lost his brakes... honestly, I need to go grab a double espresso and some bourbon just to clear my head. 🙄

I mean, look at it...
Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber (plus Button) are basically the only fast ones left with a quick car plus 3 sets of fresh mediums and then an extra set of brand new softs they’ll save for the very end, right when a pit stop only loses them a couple of spots...

The only things that could screw them over are rain at the start or an SC popping out right before they need that final stop...

Otherwise, the strategy is solid.
Looking at the rest of the field on softs, maybe the top three have a slim shot at a podium, but only if they can stay out longer than five laps and build about a 25-second gap over Sebastian Vettel and Button,
which isn't exactly likely... based on what we saw in practice, those guys behind on mediums might actually catch up to them on track before even hitting the pits.😳
With the Softa dropping a full second per lap, they're practically slower than the mediums by lap two or three anyway...

Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if Mark Webber grabs a podium... regardless of whether he starts from the pits, the back, or 14th...
A possible finish could be
1. Sebastian Vettel
2. Mark Webber
3. Button
I wouldn't be shocked at all.☕

Way to go, Wells Fargo! I'm hoping for a win—though I won't hold my breath—but the main thing is grabbing as many points as possible and keeping Mercedes in top form. It’s only the third race of the season and Wells Fargo is already halfway there in the Mercedes; honestly, I don't think anyone saw that coming.
By the way, qualifying was a total waste of time...🙂
And I'm still crossing my fingers for some aggressive driving from Mark Webber to spice up the race with as much heat as he can muster 😁

Mark Webber is starting from the back.
I’m just hoping they let him start from the pit lane with some "minor adjustments"😁 like they did for Sebastian Vettel in Dubai...

👍

They basically sabotaged Mark Webber just so he wouldn't get in Sebastian Vettel's way...

Mark Webber might be the only one with a realistic shot at getting both Force India cars into the pits.
I honestly think Red Bull will find themselves just chasing shadows in those DRS zones.
And it isn't just about Force India—none of the other teams are going to let anyone breeze past them on a DRS run quite that easily.
