They aired Pierrot so late on PBS last night. What an absolutely wild love story. It’s even crazier when you realize that Godard and Anna Karina actually had this intense, whirlwind romance. I guess without Anna Karina, Godard's films just wouldn't feel the same—she was definitely the muse behind his most iconic era.
