Does anyone here have experience with this, or know someone who does? My palms and fingers have been itching constantly—not necessarily every single day, but maybe every other day. And before anyone asks, no, it’s not because I’m expecting a windfall of cash 😬. It’s an internal itch, almost like a deep ache you can't scratch. There’s no redness, no rash, nothing visible. But today things took a turn for the worse. After I got home from the grocery store this morning, my fingers swelled up so much they looked like two sausages each. They were totally bloated, looking like Shrek😁. I took some Claritin and it settled down after about three or four hours, but it was a disaster. I couldn't even make a fist. It was a bizarre sensation. During the swelling, the itching actually stopped, and it was just the inflammation😲

Initially, I assumed it was just an allergy... but going from an itch to full-blown swelling is a different story. Could this be related to kidney issues? Or maybe my heart? 🤷

I'm planning to see my doctor tomorrow to get a professional opinion.
On top of all this, over the last two months, my lip has swollen up twice—first the upper lip, then the lower one about three weeks later—usually right when I wake up. One day, even my eye was swollen. I have no idea if there's a connection here... anyway, if anyone has any insight, let me know.🙂

I don't know, the whole thing just smells like an allergy to me, especially since your last flare-up cleared right up after taking some Claritin.

(I tweaked your thread title a bit; I'm convinced this is all connected.)

I've been dealing with the exact same issues—identical symptoms, really—for about a month now and I'm honestly at a loss. If any of you have had any positive experiences or found solutions for these specific problems, I would be so incredibly grateful if you could let me know... basically, please just send any advice on what steps I should take next

My mom’s been dealing with this crap for years now. The first time it really went south, her face swelled up so bad she looked unrecognizable... she ended up in the ER, got pumped full of corticosteroids and some antihistamines, and things finally settled down after a few days.

Now, as soon as she starts puffing up, she just pops a Benadryl and calls it a day. She says it feels like her whole face is just going numb when it kicks in. Plus, her arms and legs start itching like crazy too.

She actually went to get tested once, but they couldn't pin down what was causing the reaction... honestly though, she hasn't really taken it that seriously since then.🤷
