In the second semifinal, we’ve got the two most decorated teams in European Championship history going at it. Sweden is chasing their fifth title—they’ve got four already—while France is looking for number four. These two met back during the World Cup 2021 when Sweden came out on top. France will definitely be looking for some payback after finishing fourth that time. This tournament hasn't been easy for the French; they actually suffered their worst Euro loss ever against Iceland (27-21) during the main phase, which forced them into a must-win situation against Denmark in the final round. But I guess they showed they can step up when it matters and pulled it off. As for Sweden, their group stage was a bit of a mess—one win, one draw, and one loss—but they managed to scrape through to the main round. Just like France, they needed a win in their last game, this time against Norway, and they barely pulled off a comeback in the final minutes.
