The last time I dealt with a crude threat like that was back when we were just kids fighting in the middle school hallways. You know how it goes—one kid gets right in another's face, shouting insults and spitting, and before you know it, a brawl breaks out. It’s all so primal. Honestly, I expect this forum to maintain a certain standard of discourse, and there should be zero tolerance for outbursts like this. Everything has its limits, and there is such a thing as hitting rock bottom.

It all started when some acquaintances shared stories from "confidential sources" about people making easy money through sportsbooks. Like any sensible person would, I dismissed that nonsense immediately as total rubbish. That's why I wrote my post regarding betting sites here

Then, a moderator going by the name driftingotter47 responds in an incredibly vulgar and, frankly, threatening manner saying: ...I work for Dvoznak, I've been betting professionally for years and I'm way up... Mention Dvoznak with those epithets one more time and you're banned from this site.

To the forum administration: this kind of stupidity doesn't belong on a forum, at least not in the official sections. Maybe it belongs in some alternative corner for conspiracy theories, pseudoscience, witchcraft, or lizard people, but not here. What a complete "double-faced" joke 🤦 just a bunch of common scammers and liars who prey on unlucky bettors. 😠
Regarding that double-sided behavior, the post by MaliZeleni10 is spot on:

What am I trying to say?

First off, your post isn't "analytical," it's just incredibly stupid.

You claim you don't gamble, yet here you are discussing what is and isn't possible within the betting world.

The answer is YES, IT IS POSSIBLE (I know you weren't looking for an answer, but whatever) and people who make a living from sports betting aren't scraping by on $200 a month like you suggested; if that were the case, they wouldn't be able to survive, let alone earn much more than that.

I personally know these people, so I know exactly how hard they work and how much they actually make.
Do you want me to send you a photo of a Porsche someone bought from betting? Or a villa where a professional bettor lives? Or maybe a sports complex someone bought to pivot their capital into a different business? Or even a cafe someone owned before closing it down because it took too much focus away from more important ventures?

Secondly, you labeled the company where the moderator works as a group of "scammers selling smoke to idiots"—which effectively calls the moderator a scammer as well.

While he might have overstepped slightly, you are nowhere near being correct in this situation.

There are plenty of professionals working at Dvoznak who have maintained steady subscribers for years. If you honestly believe all those people are fools for paying $1,000 a year for their insights, then good for you.
You could have just reached out to me and had them send that $1,000 to you instead... you probably would have seen better returns investing it elsewhere than through Dvoznak.

Furthermore, Bet365—the largest sportsbook in the world—introduced sick player limitations and account bans for anyone playing Dvoznak parlays because of the losses they incurred due to them.

After that, Dvoznak stopped posting predictions because they no longer have places to place the bets, and they’ve moved on to other things.
Things that you would likely also label as "selling smoke," but since you clearly have no idea what they are, I won't bother explaining.

You kicked the moderator out of sync, sure, but his warning that he'll ban you if you don't stop calling his company scammers isn't "disgusting and beneath contempt."
What's truly disgusting are these accusations you're making without any shred of evidence.

Just for the record, I don't work for Dvoznak... don't go thinking I'm defending them for that reason.
But, I know many Dvoznak subscribers, and I certainly don't consider them idiots.
I also know some people who worked there; I know how much they invested in their work and their own education, and I know this isn't about selling smoke.

p.s.
You called kiselog's post "good and educational"? Well, kiselog says he's been in the green ever since he started "playing like a professional."
I agree his post is good and educational. Read it one more time.

Wait, hold up. This mod literally works at a sportsbook and then comes over here to moderate the PDF Betting forum?
Isn't that a massive conflict of interest?

Honestly, what’s the big deal with selling picks? You just place your bets, cash out, and call it a day—right? Or is the whole goal just living off subscription fees? It seems like a pure play, zero risk if you play it smart.

slycyclist342 Asks:
Should I send over a photo of that Porsche someone picked up purely from sports betting winnings? Or maybe you'd rather see the villa where one particular gambler calls home? Perhaps I could show you a sports complex someone bought just to diversify their investments outside of gambling, or even a cafe that one guy used to run before he shut it down because it was taking too much focus away from his more important ventures?

🤦 ☕ 🤦
If the folks behind Dvoznak actually had the secret sauce to consistently beat the house, why on earth would they be handing that precious intel out to everyone else? Doesn't the whole thing just strike you as fundamentally absurd?
If we imagine for a second that they were blessed with some kind of superhuman abilities—I mean, people who work tirelessly, never once powering down their high-end rigs, constantly analyzing complex systems, tracking every bit of data and running deep statistics until they hit those goldmine results—well, you have to admit that the heroes over at Dvoznak could easily be multi-millionaires. But here’s the thing: they aren't interested in stacking wealth for themselves. They don't care about their own pockets. Instead, they dedicate everything they do to helping regular folks find a way to win big against those predatory betting houses that seem to prey on everyone else.

Just imagine if those "Dvoznak" types were actually as successful as they claim to be. Suppose they had started out ten, fifteen, or even twenty years ago with nothing more than a modest couple thousand dollars—maybe running some little garage startup or a makeshift operation out of a backyard shed, it wouldn't really matter. If that were the case, wouldn't they have grown those holdings into tens of thousands within a few years, then hundreds of thousands shortly after that, and perhaps reached several million after a decade? By now, they would be sitting on a few billion dollars. People like that would clearly be living a life that constantly bounces between New York City, Monaco, the Seychelles, Tokyo, Los Angeles, the Galapagos, and New York City.
The most frustrating part is that their website is pretty underwhelming, and on top of that, they just spend all their time idling around and leaving messy comments all over this forum. 😁

slycyclist342 said:So, you’re basically telling me that the company where the moderator works is just a front for scammers selling snake oil to idiots? If I'm following your logic correctly, you're essentially calling the moderator a fraudster too, aren't you?

Do you have any better suggestions? 😉 Are you trying to bait me into admitting I called the Great moderator a fraud? At this rate, I might just find myself facing a permanent ban from Nica, Anderlon, or AndrejX before the night is even over.😁
Any reasonable, average person with even a modicum of common sense can see that trying to make money through betting is a losing game if you're looking at the long haul, isn't it?

Who actually comes out on top when it comes to gambling? Is it really anyone other than the house?
If you’re looking to get serious about betting, you really need to start paying closer attention to how the bookmakers actually operate, don't you think? You can't just place bets blindly; you have to study the organizers and understand the logic behind their odds.
Is there anything more frustrating than those guys who go out of their way to rig the results?
Does anyone else ever find themselves wondering about those people who actually go out of their way to fix the results? It makes you think, doesn't it?
You have all those different characters running around out there, peddling their little systems, leaking tips, offering advice, or making these grand predictions... essentially everything we’ve been discussing lately.

The players here are acting a lot like sheep just waiting to be sheared, aren't they? 😁

Let's move away from the main topic, specifically whether the moderator overstepped by threatening a ban against a guy who calls his company a bunch of scammers, liars exploiting misfortune, and total morons

But I can certainly provide an answer

First off, if you're actually a skilled player and try dropping a few thousand dollars on a single game, no sportsbook in the country is going to accept that bet—unless you're betting on one of the ten major global events like the NBA, NFL, or Premier League. Only then will they take those kinds of stakes.

Secondly, even if you play it smart and don't go overboard with your amounts, if you start showing consistent profits, every sportsbook in the world is eventually going to ban you. There might be one exception, but even they have their own ways of handling things.

Once that happens, you could theoretically organize people across several different states to place bets on your behalf, because you can't cover everything in just one place. As soon as a sportsbook sees too many bets coming in on a specific matchup, they either pull the game from the menu or just slash the odds.

That’s a massive headache, and it eats up your entire day. Plus, most of those people are gamblers themselves, so there's always a risk someone loses their shirt, which creates problems for everyone involved.

It’s much more logical and straightforward to just sell your expertise. That way, you aren't wasting half your day every single day trying to figure out how to place and fund your picks.

Sure, you can make a living from subscribers, but you won't last a second if you aren't actually delivering profit to them. People aren't idiots. They might pay you once, but they won't do it again if you fail, and there aren't enough suckers in the world to sustain a business based solely on one-time payments.

Besides, trust me, everyone does their homework before deciding who to pay.
There are millions of scammers online, but serious tipsters and professional sites use verified services that maintain a full history of every single bet. You can see exactly what the profit or loss looks like when following them.
There's no faking it and no scams there.

Ultimately, is there really that much of a difference between this and a financial advisor?
They invest your money, earn their fees, and carry zero personal risk.
You could just as easily ask why that guy doesn't just take out a loan and invest his own cash instead of playing with yours.

brightviper29, I see you asked a similar question, so there's your answer.

The most ridiculous part is that they haven't actually been selling bets for years, which explains why their site looks so "modest."
and yet, imagine, they're still running (with dozens of full-time employees, properly registered and everything)
it makes you wonder

brightviper29 said:Do you have a better suggestion? 😉 Are you implying I was too bold by calling a moderator a fraud? Maybe Nica, Anderlon, or AndrejX will permaban me before the night is over.😁

Dvoznak are nothing more than basic scammers and liars who profit from bettors' misfortunes.

but are you suggesting their employees aren't the same way, if I understood you correctly?
because if Dvoznak is like that, are you trying to say their employee acting as a moderator isn't, and that he felt insulted without any reason?

brightviper29 said:It should be obvious to any reasonably intelligent person that you cannot make money betting in the long run.

even my grandfather used to say there's no such thing as a free lunch, and to him, anything you earn just by typing away was a joke.

it's the same for you...
it's clear you don't understand what you're talking about, but insisting on certain ideas in a field where you lack both understanding and any actual experience isn't exactly the hallmark of the "average intelligent person" you keep citing.

slycyclist342, are you some kind of aide or just a spokesperson acting on behalf of his Great moderator, driftingotter47?
The way you defend driftingotter47 and "Dvoznak" with such heartfelt, fanatic devotion feels incredibly suspicious to me, don't you think? It makes me wonder if you two might be in some sort of secret arrangement together, perhaps even working from the same playbook.

Maybe we should just let driftingotter47 get a word in edgewise, unless he's far too busy developing some top-secret gambling algorithm to bother with us. 😁
Give him my best—I'm sure he isn't holding a grudge anymore.

I don't know the guy, and I have never exchanged a single word with him in my entire life, whether in person or online.
I attempted to explain why your logic is flawed—which has absolutely nothing to do with how he treated you—but clearly, you are incapable of accepting any perspective other than your own.

Look, if you had actually bothered to check out the Dvoznak site before coming over here to spout your "wisdom," you’d see that most of what we do isn't even publicly available anymore. Does it still feel so absurd to you now? 🍿

Honestly, if I were in their shoes, I’d keep all that intel strictly under wraps—just bet on it myself and pocket the entire windfall at the end
But instead, they go and broadcast it to everyone... essentially handing out the blueprint so anyone else can get in on the action too👍

You can find philanthropists like that here and there. Once, I actually got several calls on my work phone from brokers out of Hong Kong claiming they had exclusive intel on some Chinese stock. Look, I’m just a regular guy who doesn't understand that kind of stuff, so I just thanked them and moved on. Honestly, though? It made me feel good knowing there are selfless people out there willing to help. 👍

But answering isn't the issue.

Gaston, I see you asked something similar, so there's your answer.

I don't have time to go buy CDs or DVDs either; it's faster to just grab them via torrent. But even that is slow, so we could just agree that one person downloads the movie, another grabs the porn, and then we find someone to sell it.😁

No faking or scamming involved there either...

I suppose I should understand that the folks behind Dvoznak are just swamped with responsibilities, probably hunkered down in some top-secret bunker working around the clock to engineer this groundbreaking new software. Isn't it funny to imagine them crafting something designed to turn the everyday unlucky souls frequenting those greedy local betting shops into overnight millionaires, all while leaving the house owners absolutely desperate?

I like to imagine that the research team over at Dvoznak is chasing the exact same goal that those legendary British codebreakers were aiming for when they fought to crack the Nazi Enigma. Isn't it fascinating to think about that level of determination? I have a feeling they’re going to pull it off, too. 👍

Douglas Johnson41 said:Honestly, if everyone had a shred of integrity, wouldn't they just keep those insights to themselves? Wouldn't they just place their own bets and walk away with the entire windfall without sharing a single cent?

Laura Chavez93, you really hit the nail on the head with that observation. I honestly can't help but feel like the kindness of those "double-faced" types is just endless, isn't it? They certainly won't mind if you decide to toss a few extra bucks their way. Since you’re such a huge foodie, why not just take them out to a local diner for some burgers or maybe a greasy breakfast sandwich? Those humble, self-effacing characters will be perfectly satisfied with something as simple as that.

Noah Vaughn39 said:I had a few brokers calling my work cell from Hong Kong a couple of times, all claiming they had some kind of exclusive inside scoop on a Chinese stock. Look, I’m just a regular guy who doesn't really wrap his head around that kind of high-stakes market maneuvering, so I wasn't exactly jumping at the chance to listen.

Honestly, you clearly haven't even realized just how much you've missed out on, have you? 😁 Maybe those weren't brokers from Hong Kong after all, but rather some humble scientists over at Dvoznak. You have to wonder, though—isn't it true that there are philanthropic souls like that scattered all over the world, people who genuinely want to help an ordinary, unknown crowd find their way to wealth and finally stand on their own two feet?

You really just have to stay patient and keep pushing forward; follow every single word those experts say and hand over every cent you've saved, give them all your account details and credit card info, and essentially sign over every last bit of property you own... 👍

I just don't have any more time...

So, what you’re actually implying is that I’m out here trying to prove I make a killing off private sports betting? That I need to validate myself on this forum? Like I should be posting screenshots of my bank accounts, my Skrill accounts, showing off how much cash I’m dropping on my slips and exactly what they look like? Just to satisfy you and all the other self-proclaimed geniuses hanging around here?
