Hey everyone.

I'm running a few days behind schedule, but here I am at the 11-month mark. Here is my current progress report.

Honestly, I’m pretty happy with how things are looking. If I’m being optimistic, I’m hoping to see just a little more coverage popping up around the crown area soon. From what I’ve read online, the crown can take anywhere from 12 to 18 months to fully settle. Even if nothing major changes from here on out, I still feel like the procedure was a total success.

Kudos to you for documenting this whole journey; it’s honestly great to see that the procedure went smoothly, and I completely get where you're coming from regarding prioritizing the surgeon's expertise over everything else. You only have one head and a limited amount of donor hair to work with, so if you can pick the path that offers the lowest risk of a total disaster, you absolutely should go for it.

At first glance, I actually thought the doctor could have brought your hairline down just a tiny bit further, but looking at these latest photos, it's clear they did a stellar job and once you let things grow out a little, it’ll cover more of that forehead and look fantastic. The mid-section looks solid too, though I imagine the crown might be giving you a bit of a headache, but nothing we can't handle. Honestly, your crown looks better than mine—and I haven't even gone the transplant route yet, despite being obsessed with high-end thickeners, Minoxidil, Ketoconazole for five years, and recently starting to go at it with dermarolling. Even with all that, I’m still convinced a transplant is the only thing that’s going to save me in the long run.

Do keep posting updates every now and then so we can all see how the transplant holds up as the years go by.
