Since I can't reply directly to Jessica Morris6 in the mod mail, I guess I have to take this to Reddit. I got banned because apparently I'm "using two profiles on the same thread." Give me a break. I barely even post anything anymore—I literally just dropped a comment on two different threads after being gone for ages, and boom, I'm out? It's ridiculous. They didn't even specify which "other profile" they think is mine, so could a supermod please actually look into this and tell me what I'm supposedly doing wrong? Thanks.

Your post was taken down because you're double-dipping and posting from two different accounts on the same thread, not because of what you actually said. Just pick one profile for Alternative and stick to it...
The clone account has been permanently removed, and this profile is banned for a week.

The clone got permabanned, while this account just gets a week-long timeout.

So, a whole week??? And newsflash: my clone wasn't deleted because I don't even have one. On that Martial Arts thread, people were accusing me of being a Mike Tyson clone, claiming it was impossible for two people to write exactly the same way. Once they realized they were wrong, the accusations finally died down. Hey, Jessica Morris6, you ancient relic, I see you're out here grinding away at those moderator duties. Good luck with that.
Shoutout to the old crew over at Edge of Possibility and Healthy Eats. Honestly, I'm kind of bummed I didn't post about my battle with COVID, but I seriously had zero energy or willpower for anything. Oh, you absolutely do. Both profiles popped up at the exact same time, and both were exclusively posting in Martial Arts and Science Fringe, which isn't exactly a coincidence... plus, there's an overlap in the IP addresses. Just stop doing this already.

Look, I don't mean to be a pain, but honestly? It feels like Mark Hamill is going to turn pro and snag a heavyweight title before I ever get unbanned.
Wilder will probably square off against Fury before I see any action here. And frankly, I’d love to actually have some input on the predictions *before* the fight happens—it’s kind of pointless waiting until after the dust settles when everyone already knows the outcome. So, can we please just wrap this up and lift the ban? It was a total mistake, and I’m ready to get back in. Thanks for being cool about it.
Besides, the pandemic is basically a memory at this point while I'm sitting here warming up my seat in the kitchen.

If we’re ever going to even begin discussing the possibility of lifting your ban, the very first thing you need to do is stop playing dumb and just admit you messed up. Since you clearly have no intention of owning your actions here, I don't see how anything is ever going to change...

I’m not playing dumb—I’m actually just an idiot for ever posting anything on Science Fringe in the first place. And for the record, I didn't ask for a shorter ban, I asked for it to be lifted entirely. Look, my bad, I thought a whole week had passed and I'd already lived a full lifetime since then. Guess not, but hey, give it time. You think you're so funny—if I had a clone, I'd be using him to post right now instead of sitting here waiting for my profile to go live.

Donna Miller4, seriously, at least five people have asked why you're typing like a total clone. It was obvious it was you, yet you’re still playing dumb. This isn't even the first time you've been caught having a conversation with yourself.
Just take the hit, shut your mouth, and accept this ban. Then maybe try focusing so you don't end up facing that partial suspension you were warned about a few months back.

Look, common sense says if you're posting from a clone, you should actually change up your writing style instead of trying way too hard to mimic the original. My ban is supposed to expire today, so it would be pretty sweet if you guys could just unban me already. Much appreciated. @Donna Miller4.

The writing style is suspicious, but the technical specs back it up.
As Jessica Morris6 pointed out, don't be an idiot and stop doing that—you can't post under two different handles on the same thread. For someone who is one step away from being a total fraud, you really are incredibly persistent.

Fine—I’m done arguing. I won't even bother asking what "technical specs" you're talking about, or what the hell "partiality" is. I see people throwing that word around constantly and I have zero clue what it means. Honestly, all these "expert" terms you guys use are raining down on me and I don't understand a single one. And frankly? I don't care. I was just venting, and that's only on a few threads. Over the last year and a half—yeah, I've been pretty much useless—I've barely posted anything besides some stuff about boxing and MMA. And yeah, I was aggressive there too. COVID might be gone, but it left me a complete wreck. Maybe you guys are right—maybe I'm just not cut out for any of this anymore. Enjoy yourselves while you can, because life doesn't crawl, it sprints. Peace.

A partial ban basically means a specific user is restricted from posting in a particular sub-Reddit—in your case, Donna Miller4 is banned from the Martial Arts section.
We issue these when warnings, strikes, and short-term suspensions fail to actually change anyone's behavior.
Both me and those other guys already gave you a heads-up about this about a month and a half ago.
Messing around with your own alt account (Dad 1) isn't helping your case, and neither is playing the "I have no idea what you're talking about" card.
Get it together, get your act together, and things will settle down. It’s entirely up to you.

Just to add a little more clarity here: whether it’s a partial ban or a full-blown one, the rule applies to the actual person behind the screen, not just the account itself. That means the restriction follows the individual, covering any other potential accounts or clones they might try to use.
