Here is the situation:

I recently picked up a really solid rig equipped with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060—or something in that ballpark—but I’ve run into a frustrating issue. While gaming, this transparent vertical line keeps appearing on my screen, stretching from top to bottom. It is incredibly distracting.

To make matters worse, whenever I shut down the PC, I get an error message mentioning "nvidia contain class" something or other...

Please help!

What’s the exact error message you're seeing? That "Nvidia container class" bit—what does it actually say? Also, have you actually updated to the latest drivers yet?

Moved from General Discussion.

I suspect the error might be this translucent line—I'm not entirely sure if it’s a flickering artifact or just a refresh rate issue... I am running the latest drivers, having installed them just the other day...

Additionally, this occasionally pops up—it isn't constant—and I have read that such things could indicate malware. However, I haven't downloaded anything from suspicious sites; I rely on Norton Antivirus and make it a point to scan every file before installing anything external...

In any case, here is the specific error:

Closing 1 app and shutting down:

NvContainer\WindowClass00001EE4

It is a similar story with YouTube; while watching videos, that annoying, translucent line appears from time to time...

Try swapping it out with a different monitor or maybe test a different cable entirely, like a DisplayPort or an HDMI one.

Also, if you can manage to catch it, try taking a photo of the issue.
