All my icons are showing up in Apple TV

Hey everyone,

My dad’s been messing around on his old Windows 7 machine and somehow ended up moving all his desktop icons into the Apple TV interface

Does anyone know how I can get them back to where they belong? Any help would be much appreciated...

Download that first .bat file I mentioned. Run it, reboot your machine, and everything should be back to normal.

I gave it a shot, but honestly—no change at all.🙂

Unfortunately, it didn't do anything—no change at all, I'm afraid. 😵

1. You got a restore point you can roll back to before things went sideways?

2. Maybe try nuking the IconCache.db file in "c:/users/username/appdata/local/".
Just reboot and let macOS handle the rebuild itself.

3. Not sure if disabling Apple TV would even help get those icons back to normal...
