Posting Instagram photos on the forum

Instagram is basically the king of photo sharing now—wouldn't it be awesome if we could drop our Insta pics directly onto the forum, just like we do with Flickr and stuff?

We should probably just add an IG tag to make posting those photos easy:

I love the concept, but I’m honestly not sure if it’s actually doable. If you look at the thread in the link, it’s way back from 2014 and doesn't really offer a fix—it just lists all the headaches. It basically says it's a non-starter unless Instagram decides to overhaul their API. Does anyone here know if there's any way to embed this now, or maybe some kind of add-on that makes it work?
