I’ve been getting the feeling lately—though maybe it’s just me—that people are leaning heavily on big, flashy names to carry them. It’s like they’re desperate for a win, so they just grab whatever's famous and call it a day. Me? I’m trying to do things a bit differently. I’m not just looking for something "good"; I want to bring something fresh to the table. Something unreleased, something raw, something actually new. 🤷

It doesn't actually matter. I wrote this exact same thing myself (though they wiped most of my posts), and look, I agree, but it’s really not the point. The real issue is whether people actually sit down and listen to the music. What’s the point of winning a vote if everyone just ignores the album anyway? I’ll give you my vote, and honestly, I think I probably gave it to you in the past too.

Look, trying to hear every single piece of music ever made? It’s impossible. Honestly, does a person even have the physical capacity to catch it all just once? No way. 😁

Music snobs are honestly such a joke. People who live and breathe one specific genre always end up hating on everything else. Take Antonijo Fonata, for example. He’s definitely not into world music or Afrobeat, but that doesn't mean he can't appreciate classical or any other musical tradition out there. It's just silly. 😬 Either the guy himself or some music critic who knows his stuff but just happens to specialize in one specific genre. That's all it is.

So, there's this guy Adam Neely—pretty sure that's his name—who basically has music theory baked right into his DNA. From what I can tell, the dude's got it all figured out.
