Budget gaming PC build under $700?

I need some help putting together a PC build. It’s my first time actually building one from scratch. To be honest, I’m leaning more toward AMD, but if there's an ideal combo using Intel instead, I'm open to it. $1500 is roughly what I'm looking to spend, but I can stretch it a bit if the parts justify it. Also, let me know if you have any monitor recommendations that won't completely break the bank. Thanks for the help.

What's the actual goal here? Gaming? If gaming isn't even on the table, why bother putting in the effort to throw in a card like an $533...

I would personally suggest opting for the 8GB memory configuration instead of the 16GB version if it allows you to secure this specific graphics card:

Total disaster, round two. Honestly, 8GB of RAM is already hitting its limit with certain games, and you're essentially throwing away 10% of your performance just by running single-channel memory. Plus, that RX590 is a complete waste of money. If you just throw in $33 more, you could grab a GTX 1660 instead. It actually performs better and pulls half the power, which means it stays way cooler while you're playing.

Stick with Dell, BenQ, Asus, Samsung, or LG. If you go with Philips, you’re just buying low-end gear in every category.

I suppose that is a valid point, but I find myself wondering: in which specific games would 8GB truly be insufficient, particularly regarding single-player experiences? Furthermore, I would argue that the RX 590 offers much better value than the RX 570 at $450. If his graphics card is relatively modest to begin with, what real benefit would he derive from upgrading to 16GB or moving to a dual-channel setup? If he is truly concerned about those specifics, he might as well just pick up a GTX 1660.

$100 It’s priced higher than the Philips models, but at least you get FreeSync and a 144Hz refresh rate.
