Getting an error while installing The Sims 4

So, about a month ago, I ended up having to do a full reinstall of Windows 10 because of some technical hiccup, and while I managed to get almost everything else back up and running, I’ve hit a complete wall with The Sims 4. For some reason, it just refuses to install... This error message keeps popping up



I’ve spent quite a bit of time scouring YouTube for solutions and trying every single tip and trick I could find, but nothing seems to work. If anyone out there has even the slightest inkling of how to clear this error, I am truly begging for your help...

I just love those characters so much, it's heartbreaking to be locked out like this.

It could be one of these
An issue with the hard drive
A scratched or damaged game disc
Using a pirated version of the game
A problem with the RAM

What happened that made you need to reinstall everything in the first place?

I've already tried every single tip and trick I could find on YouTube, but nothing seems to work, so if anyone out there has even a tiny clue how to fix this error, please, please help me out....

How are you trying to install them? Are you using a physical disc or downloading them from somewhere else?
