I’ve run into a bit of a situation with my External Hard Drive, and I’m really hoping it’s nothing too serious...
So, here’s what happened: I picked up a new laptop today that didn't come with Windows or a pre-installed Hard Disk Drive
Since I couldn't find a spare USB flash drive lying around the house to create my installation media, I decided to use my portable External Hard Drive instead...
But then things went sideways. It looks like the Windows installation process essentially "hijacked" the drive, limiting the capacity to just 32GB out of the full 2TB available...
Basically, I accidentally turned a massive 2TB External Hard Drive into a tiny 32GB bootable drive. 😵
I'm trying to figure out how to fix this, because a standard format hasn't done a thing... it just reformats that small 32GB partition and leaves the rest of the space invisible...
