Opeth – Reverie / Harlequin Forest

Deep in the woods... drifting further from the meadows and so far away from home...

We’ve been running some comic book workshops at the school lately, and one of my colleagues—who honestly thinks he knows everything—was lecturing the kids on how Japanese manga is written from right to left, following that reverse diagonal flow. One of the students just looked at him and said they basically have some kind of weird, chaotic headspace 😁 ... ))

Happy birthday

I was going through one of the most high-stress situations of my entire life when this song came on, so even now, it’s permanently tied to that memory for me. It’s weird, because despite that, I still absolutely love it.

Zlatan Ibrahimović has that golden voice.

Hey everyone, I might have mentioned this already, but one of my students at my current school just dropped the most "poetic" line of romantic verse I’ve ever heard, and it goes: 'OH MY GOD I AM A GUY!', which was written by the same absolute genius who previously informed me that the author of the *Canciones* was actually named Thursday.

If you blast this enough times, you’ll feel all those extra brain cells just... exiting—kind of like finally clearing out the junk from your garage. Super meditative.

np: I can't believe how long it took me to find this; a friend of Astaš's put it up here ages ago, and I've been hunting for it because it’s honestly such a gem: swings of movies

p.s. Astaš, old friend, you really ought to drop by and visit once in a while. ))
p.p.s. Since I'm already mentioning him, wiredmason61, it's finally the weekend—enjoy yourself! 🙂 😁

Catch ya later, L.A.

It is honestly unbelievable how much this guy just talks nonsense, 🙄I truly cannot wrap my head around it.

Late February is probably the most underrated time of year—all that surreal light during those clear twilights. My hero Jeff Tweedy totally caught that vibe when he sang "The air was crisp / like sunny latiti Winter Days" in this beautiful track.
