Rundek me could work too.🎉

I personally think this one is a winner (just one of many) Apocalypso.

It’s honestly such a massive plus that Carpenter handles the soundtracks for his own movies; it's one of the main reasons I'm such a huge fan.

I wasn't actually aware he composed the scores for all his films. That’s an interesting bit of trivia, though I haven't sat through his entire filmography. His list of credits is far too extensive to tackle at once, but one standout for me—both in terms of the movie itself and the soundtrack—was Ghosts of Mars. I was younger back then, but even now, I find the film entertaining and the music remains excellent. 👍

It's a workday today, and I have an endless pile of chores to tackle at home before my trip the day after tomorrow.
Great music, at least. ))

Mark Kozelek. Total prick. Just a guy who can't handle women hitting their 20s—real grumpy bastard. But then again... can someone actually this awful manage to record something so lucid and beautiful? It honestly hurts when an artist you used to love just goes off the rails through sheer creative and personal self-sabotage. It really does.

I was pretty young when I first saw it, but even now, I still think the music hits just right. 👍

I remember being such a sucker, renting The Thing from my local video store and staying up all night because I was too freaked out to actually get any sleep; it absolutely wrecked me. Prince of Darkness gave me that same kind of bone-chilling dread for some reason.

Don't forget In the Mouth of Madness—probably his creepiest 👍

Yeah, I’m down with Neill myself—he’s delivered some absolute masterclasses throughout his career click. They definitely nail that Lovecraftian vibe; those dark, atmospheric horror flicks like Dagon are spot on

@Dennis Martin6 always nails the visuals for a soundtrack. He just gets it.

Man, Possession. 1981 was a hell of a year for cinema. Just a solid era. 😁

I used to binge horror movies back when they actually meant something. Now? I'm getting older and I can't deal with the jump scares. I don't want to be lying awake at night staring at the ceiling. Guess I've gone soft. Maybe it's worth revisiting some of those old classics, though. Might actually be funny instead of terrifying. 😁

Sandwiched right between two of Smith's absolute masterpieces—even though he didn't actually write the one linked below—is that classic indie-rock staple from City Sons, still sounding just as fresh as back in '96.

I Remember You

A wave of nostalgia is hitting me tonight, I suppose... It tends to surface from time to time.

I just rolled out of bed
But apparently, you've already checked out
After everything I did to try and reach you
Just through those headphones you're always wearing

Ausch, what an album—those guitars are unreal. It’s basically just a masterclass in riffs and chords meant for a Guitar Player living in a perfect world.

You'll look in the mirror
And say, "My parents are still alive."

Pure old-school freaks through and through—honestly though, I dig The Parable of the Sower more.
