Unfortunately, there's nothing else 😢
But he was a character. Not surprised people thought he was in the video.

Good morning! The Wanderer inspired me to dig up something local this morning; I haven't heard this one in decades. 😁

I remember being in St. Louis once right when the Lakers blew a huge lead, just a random memory. That's all I've got. 😁

1992. Back when the chaos in our city finally started to settle down—I hadn't even gotten my permanent teeth yet—I was just starting to mess around with my parents' record collection. I can still faintly hear those R.E.M. melodies drifting back from that innocent era. I'm pretty sure my first real taste of "aimless melancholy" was tied directly to Losing My Religion.

But whatever:

Since you brought up the chaos of those war years, I found myself reminiscing about my time as a psychic. There’s one specific song from that era that has stuck with me to this day for reasons I can't quite explain. A guy from the neighborhood I had just moved into gave it to me on a cassette tape, mixed in with several other tracks. I was head over heels for him, obviously, though I never dared to tell him—he didn't see me that way, and he was older with his own romantic interests 😁. I haven't heard that particular track in quite a while, but it remains the most vivid memory from the few years I spent living there. It constantly played on a loop in my mind:

I think I was listening to this back in the day, maybe during breaks from New Kids on the Block 🤣

Not sure why, but I always loved this track more than the big radio hits.

^ You have to be kidding me, Kimberly Smith. Don't tell me you were actually listening to Boston too? 😁 I swear, I spent basically my entire sixth and seventh grade years with nothing but them on repeat. 🙈 Jordan was easily my favorite out of the whole group; I even went as far as collecting their trading cards. 😁

Haha, what can I say? Kid stuff. I’d love to claim I had sophisticated taste from day one, but I was just your typical brat. Everything from boy bands to pop and even some rock. There were definitely enough hints there to suggest I might actually make something of myself.

Luckily, they introduced me to Dylan early on. I’d love to go back and revisit some of that now, but you have to be smart about it. You can't force it. It takes finesse and a subtle approach. 😁

This one feels like it’s straight out of '92 or '93. Feels like yesterday—my uncle picking up Jugić and me to go see him at dusk out in the suburbs, and this track is playing in the car.

I love this song. Really do. I wasn't listening to Dylan back then. It wasn't until high school when my uncle left me a few cassettes of his stuff. I can still picture the covers and the tracklists perfectly. Maybe I could dig them up if they haven't been lost, but probably not.

If everyone had uncles like that (and I don't mean the extremist kind 😁 )

This is actually the first time I’ve ever heard this from Dylan. It feels like a forgotten track, or maybe I just haven't stumbled upon it in ages.

Is this one from your childhood too?😁

He wasn't "uncle" in that weird way—actually, I think he was being watched by the HOS because he was a Mexican living in New York City back in '91. For real.😁

Here's another one from when I was a kid. Now I realize it's basically just about hooking up, even though back then I thought it was just about the rain:

Dad’s gold and Mom’s white. 😁
You gotta be progressive somewhere, haha.

He wasn't being an uncle in that sense. Honestly, it felt more like he was under a microscope by the HOS, much like how Mexicans were treated back in New York City in 1991. Seriously.😁

I didn't mean for it to come out like that. It was just me and my stupid jokes.🕺
It was fine as long as they were just looking closely at him. He got through it without any issues. 😁

Here’s another one from back when I was a kid. Now I realize it's mostly just for messing around, though back then, all I cared about was using it for the rain.

Looks like you were listening to her way too early. Back then, you didn't see her as anything more than a hookup. Now? She’s practically screaming sensuality.

My bad. Using multiquote was a hassle. I’m done with that, Jelene.

Sorry, had to multi-quote this one—won't do it again, I swear, Jelene.

Yeah, at six... nah, my hormones weren't exactly going wild back then. 😁

Though I was obsessed with girls by the time I was four—or so they told me. That's all. Okay, fine, I caught my parents together when I was five, but it didn't really shake me. What am I supposed to blame all this on? Sex is just part of life—honestly, better than them fighting.😁

Even though I was already obsessed with girls by the time I was four—or so they told me. That's all there is to it. Sure, I caught my parents mid-act when I was five, but it didn't phase me. So what, am I supposed to blame everything on that? Sex is normal. It’s better than them fighting.😁

I can't wrap my head around a six-year-old listening to that. You're definitely one of a kind. 🙂
Obviously it's better than them fighting. It's all normal stuff. At least they loved each other. That's a good thing.

I tried watching that link above, but it's a bit too depressing for me right now. Can't deal with it today. Maybe some other time.

🙂😉

What can I say, there was just so much music to dive into—I just stumbled upon it.😁

In that case, don't listen to this one:
