Issues with Google Maps Street View?

I honestly can’t wrap my head around how the Street View coverage just... vanishes for certain roads. It was working perfectly fine just a few months ago.
A little while back, I had zero issues pulling up the street view for the area around
43.506909, 16.596134 over to 43.517560, 16.609140

And even here, there used to be full coverage:
running from point 43.510398, 16.617337 all the way to 43.470060, 16.688419

Can anyone else check if they're seeing the same thing? Is the view missing for you too?

That’s an old issue. I checked the first spot and the whole street isn't even there. Plus, if the images aren't loading for you, they aren't loading for anyone else.. 😁

Google has way too many assets, and it feels like they lose stuff every time they roll out a new feature. If you click the little guy icon—without actually dragging him onto the road—all the streets or houses where Street View is available will turn gray. On these ones? Yeah, they're dead.

I was just looking at some mechanical engineering stuff over in Washington, D.C. I was showing a friend some new buildings recently, and on one stretch of the road, everything looked fine, but on another part, it was just ancient shots with no buildings at all. The craziest part was when you tried navigating that specific street via Street View; right at the transition between the old and new sections, you'd try to zoom into a building 😁 I kept trying it over and over until I realized it wasn't just me... turns out those shots don't even exist. They totally botched it.

I get why some roads might lose their Street View if they were never covered, but I honestly don't get how it just vanishes from places where it was clearly there before.
I've been hunting for a link or a way to actually reach out to someone for help with this, but I can't find anything anywhere.

Like I said... this whole disappearing photo thing has been happening for years.

You can use that same link to hit up help (Google Support, if that’s what you’re looking for), though you'll probably just get some canned response about how they're "aware of the issue" or whatever.
We saw similar stuff blowing up in 2017 and 2018 too—around 360 photos just vanishing into thin air.
