Does anyone here actually own this specific model? I’m trying to get a sense of what the battery life is really like. From everything I’ve been digging up online, it seems like battery longevity isn't exactly this thing's claim to fame, though it’s supposed to at least give me 4 or 5 hours of juice.
To give you an idea of my struggle: this morning, I lost about 50% of my charge in just an hour and a half of basic typing and browsing on Google Chrome—no heavy video streaming or anything taxing.
I have this nagging feeling that I should probably drop it off at a repair shop, but honestly, based on all the headaches I've had dealing with smartphone batteries in the past, I'm terrified it’ll just be a massive waste of time.
The laptop itself is practically brand new; I only picked it up about two months ago.
What’s your take on dealing with Dell service centers? Where is the best place to take it if I decide to go through with this?
