I have been absolutely losing my mind lately dealing with Chrome.
Every single time I open a new tab or navigate to a website, these random pop-up windows just start jumping all over the screen.
It makes no sense—especially since I already have AdBlock installed to prevent this sort of thing.
Does anyone have any idea how to kill these interruptions for good?

It’s not really about pop-up windows—it's more that every single website manages its own privacy policy and cookie settings. This usually happens whenever you clear your browsing history in Chrome; normally, you just accept them once per site and they leave you alone... at least until you decide to wipe your history again.

So, the USA recently rolled out these new privacy regulations that every single website is forced to follow now. I haven't actually sat down to read through the fine print myself—Lord knows who has the time—but apparently, it means you have to be explicitly notified about a site's privacy policy before you can do anything. It’s been happening to me lately where I can't even load certain sites at all because I get hit with some pop-up saying they don't meet the latest security standards... just a total headache.
If you find yourself stuck in this loop where the exact same site keeps badgering you for an answer every single time you visit, there's a good chance you've got your Chrome settings dialed in to wipe out all your cookies every time you close the browser.
If that's the case, you might want to try letting those sites keep their cookies permanent... otherwise, you're just going to be fighting the same battle over and over again.

Look, they’re just cookies—every single website is constantly nagging you about them anyway.
