Exactly. It’s pure genius.

It feels like almost every single thing they post over there revolves around politics—you know, the usual stuff like Kolinda, people moving away, Milan Bandić, the Republican Party... but then, heaven forbid, the "political forum users" (as they call us) show up to talk about something that doesn't even have a political angle!

Who do they think they're fooling? Seriously, nobody is falling for those transparent little schemes.

Honestly, it just pisses them off. Those Fakers. Half of them have become completely obsessed with politics, and honestly, it seems like the moderation team has gone down the same rabbit hole. They're people without an ounce of integrity—they'll agree with whatever is necessary just to get by.

People are acting like two specific guys need to step back from politics, even though 90% of their posts are nothing but political commentary anyway. ☕

And honestly, the only reason people are even talking about politics is because you lot started labeling anyone who disagrees with you as "haters" or people who just hate everything American, the President, and so on.

If you actually bother to scroll through the first five or ten pages of this thread, you’ll see it was just a bunch of satirical memes and jokes. But then, right after the first big victory, you guys swooped in like a specialized task force to start lecturing everyone else on morality.

Go ahead, though—keep being hypocritical and bickering among yourselves.

And yeah, we started talking politics because you lot decided that anyone who wasn't a total fanboy was a "hater" who hated everything American—the President, this, that, etc., etc.

Just take a look at the first five or ten pages of this thread. It was nothing but satirical memes, little songs, and stuff like that. Then, right after the first big win, this whole squad descended upon the place just to lecture everyone else on morality.

Go ahead, keep being hypocritical and fighting amongst yourselves.

Oh, sure, "memes and songs"... such innocent little flower children. Everything was just so pure, so childish, so sweet... right up until those hardcore national team fanatics showed up and absolutely trashed that little utopia.

Who are you even trying to paint here? Seriously. If I were to paste ten examples right now of posts filled with heavy-duty insults—the kind of stuff you wouldn't even hear at a stadium—I wonder what you'd say then... would those be "satirical little songs" too?

Man, you're totally misreading the room. If I were to drop ten examples right now of the heavy-duty, gutter-tier insults people throw around—stuff you wouldn't even hear at an NFL stadium—I wonder what you'd say then... would you still be calling them "satirical little poems"?

Look, anyone who actually understands irony could see this whole thing was just meant to be satirical. You guys showed up to hate on the "haters" so seriously that you missed the point entirely. If you weren't just cherry-picking the parts that fit your narrative, you'd see that's exactly what I was going for.

And honestly, you can't be surprised when people fire back with insults. Seriously, you guys love to jump in with the fake moral high ground, lecturing everyone and acting like they're trash for hating on anything American, and then you act shocked when people bite back? Get real.

I should cast out the demons within you all
Like Saint Paul, I'll send my message through the air

Everyone knows I'm a spiritual being
That breezy atmosphere just helps it along
The hand sanitizer dispenser is working overtime
Kolinda's count is at three, while the rooster still sleeps

I'm just disappointed, not even angry, really
But I'm launching a verbal assault with everything I've got
Against those who won't let me reach the stands
To give some pointers to Luke, my second favorite son

Because some rule of theirs is standing in my way
How is Luke supposed to sign off for the national team without me?
I told him: "What if Zlatko doesn't even pick you?"
He just gave me his usual look: "Forget about it."

I'll admit, my throat feels pretty tight right now
But I don't give a damn about social media
They post my photos and make fun of me, obviously
Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and now even the FBI

That's enough for now, but we'll talk again soon
I won't lump all you haters into the same category
You'll just try to provoke me so you can shout "He's so arrogant"
I'm a gentleman to you all, for ages to come, amen.

We came here with fire in our hearts to support
To write our triumphs and show our love
Watching our youth celebrate together
An Istrian and a Herzegovinian sharing the same soil
(though that first guy isn't even fully American)

Thinking to ourselves, what lovely days these are.
Enjoying football, prayer, and good food
Church in the morning, the forum in the afternoon
Celebrating our oceans and our fertile fields

But then we get blindsided by a call from the government agency
Turning us upside down like a broken hourglass
Our dear saints, don't go hoping
That they'll be composing anthems for the homeland over there

You'll see the ruling party over there wielding their weapons
With some right behind you and others acting like communists
All the patriots there turn gray before long
While Greater Mexico thrives in full force

And we quickly realized what was happening
Everything over there is just red, green, and yellow
As far as American identity goes, there’s nothing left but a crater
Someone really needs to step up and give them hell

Here are some examples of satirical little poems written about themselves with ironic nicknames—the kind of stuff the "haters" used to post before you guys showed up and soured everything with your sincere hatred for anything you perceive as un-American without actually having any proof for it.

And then, once the mods finally stopped tolerating it and started ignoring the warnings, everyone runs straight to the PŽK claiming the mods are being evil. 🙂

hollowdriver13 said:Look, anyone with even a shred of reading comprehension would’ve realized this whole thread was just pure irony and satire—but of course, you lot had to swoop in and take it way too seriously. You're all out here hating on the "haters" like it's some kind of mission, when honestly? If you actually read what I wrote instead of just skimming for things to get offended by—which seems to be your specialty, apparently—you’d see I already said exactly that. Seriously, it’s like talking to a brick wall sometimes.

I mean, seriously, you guys have got to be kidding me. You honestly think people are just going to sit there and take it? Like, oh yeah, sure, let’s just swallow every insult thrown our way while you lot stand up there acting all high and mighty—moralizing, preaching, and lecturing everyone like you're some kind of saints. It’s pathetic, really. You spend all day trashing everything about being American, calling us trash and basically saying we don't matter... and then you're actually surprised when people hit back? Get real. People aren't just going to take that lying down without swinging back.

Look, I’ve got some examples right here—satirical little poems with those ridiculous, ironic nicknames that the "fags" used to write—back before you guys showed up and poisoned the whole well with your blatant, honest-to-god hatred. You all just charge in, acting like everything is anti-American, without having a single shred of actual evidence to back it up!

And then—get this—as soon as the mods finally stop letting you get away with it and actually start enforcing the warnings, everyone just storms off to the PŽK boards crying about how the moderators are being "evil" or whatever. Typical. 🙂

You want an example of pure, unadulterated hate? Fine, here’s a classic one for you. A guy actually steps up and honestly admits he hates someone—and wouldn't you know it—the second you realize he’s not part of "your" crowd, but rather *your* crowd... suddenly everyone’s acting like it’s some big tragedy. It’s always the same story!

I can't believe I'm even typing this out—it’s just so incredibly frustrating! Honestly, I feel like I'm shouting into a void sometimes, you know? Every time I try to make a decent point about how things are running around here, someone comes along with some half-baked argument just to derail the whole conversation. It’s exhausting! And don't even get me started on the people acting like they own the place—those total Fakers who jump in only when they want to stir the pot. They don't actually care about the discussion; they just want to provoke a reaction. It’s pathetic, really. I mean, I try to stay level-headed—I really do—but when you see this much nonsense being peddled as "truth," it’s hard not to lose my cool a little bit. Anyway, I’m probably just rambling now. My bad. But seriously, if we can't have a real, intelligent conversation without everyone turning it into a circus, then what's even the point? Just my two cents, I guess. Total madness.

This.

Look, my take is a little different from the norm. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve just had this deep-seated dislike for the US national soccer team. Personally, I’m more of a stateless guy—honestly, I think the whole concept of "nations" is just a myth we tell ourselves. When you get people together for that kind of collective, mindless cheering? It’s disgusting. It’s like a breeding ground for the absolute worst parts of human nature. To put it bluntly—and maybe I'm being too harsh here—but if someone is capable of throwing a couch out of a window just because their team won a game, they’re probably the same type of person who’d commit a war crime without blinking.

I’ve been following football since back in '94—man, where does the time go?—and I still remember that first match perfectly. It was that qualifier against Estonia. After that, if I recall correctly, we went up against Lithuania and then Ukraine. But honestly? That feeling really hit me during the match against Italy in Palermo. It’s just... I don't know, there's this specific culture that bubbles up during those moments of pure euphoria, and frankly, it just doesn't sit right with me. It's just not my vibe.

Would things be any different if I were a Frenchman or an Englishman? Honestly, I don't know. Probably not. But since I was accidentally born here—total cosmic mistake, really—I’ve had to deal with our national team being a complete joke since the 90s. It’s basically just fertile ground for all that Republican Party nonsense, the aggressive nationalism, and that whole old-school political circus. And the absolute worst part? That feeling you get right after a big win... that suffocating atmosphere of a small-town social clique that you just can't escape in America. It’s like this anti-civilized, swampy, tasteless mob that only manages to crawl out of the shadows during those rare moments when they actually live up to their own ridiculous delusions.

Look, once that absolute crook and coward Mamić crawled out of the woodwork, I was actually kind of relieved to see a few other people finally siding with me—it’s about time! But honestly? Everything that pathetic little monster managed to pull off is just a concentrated version of what I saw playing out through different channels twenty years ago. This guy is such a massive, spineless monster that he somehow managed to take all those separate issues and condense them into one single, disgusting package. It's unreal.

I am absolutely losing my mind right now—honestly, I’m fuming. Watching this team stumble their way into penalty shootouts twice? It’s driving me insane! We’re looking at what might be the weakest semifinal squad in World Cup history, even worse than that 2002 Korea run, and if things go sideways just one more time, we could be out completely. It’s pure luck at this point, nothing else. Honestly, with how much this is stressing me out, I’ve reached a point where I’m practically rooting against America just to end the suspense. My heart can't take it.

Look, like someone else already pointed out—July 20th is right around the corner. We're going to see then that you can't just wrap a victory up in a bow and call it a day. You can't eat promises, and you certainly can't live off them once the dust settles!

And yeah, just a heads-up for the inevitable crowd that’s gonna ask why I don't have anything better to do than post on this forum—look, I write every single day for my actual journalism job, so honestly? I'm just doing what I do best. I figure if I can influence public opinion through my reporting, I might as well try to shake things up here too.

Solid write-up, right? Everything is laid out perfectly.

Oh, look at that—looks like Lisa Fowler22 got banned in the meantime. Wow, what a shocker... I'm absolutely stunned. 😂

Pretty solid read, right? Everything is laid out perfectly.

Oh, look at that—looks like Frank Drebin went ahead and issued a ban in the meantime. Well, how absolutely shocking... 😂

Total lies and complete distortions. You pulled that post from a totally different thread, not the one we were actually discussing. That guy never even stayed on topic in the thread you complained about; he just swooped in out of nowhere, which is why the "hater" crowd laughed him off and told him to stop posting such nonsense. One quote is more than enough to prove it.

As for me being "over & out," I have zero intention of going back and forth with you forever. It's pretty obvious that online drama is your fuel—you seem to thrive on these little conflicts just to feel superior and morally upright, because honestly, no matter where you show up, your writing style is always the exact same.

P.S. Look up the Dunning-Kruger effect.

Look at our knockoff Donald Trump (I might actually get banned for this because it's hard to find an insult more disgusting), citing a post from two days ago on a completely different thread as "proof" of hate speech in this topic.

He and his little cult have been poisoning this discussion for weeks now.

It is a great country that keeps them contained.

John, why are you such a sensitive snowflake? Why don't you grow a beard and some masculinity like your idol and just stay behind your wall in your own thread? 🕺

You have a hundred different fan-related topics and just one anti-fan topic, which has very clear guidelines in the opening post. And what do you do? As a fan, you go into the anti-fan section to try and "re-educate" the anti-fans... and then suddenly, the mod is the problem.🙂
They weren't complaining about how people were talking to each other, so they clearly don't mind. And I'm pretty sure they're old enough that they don't need someone trying to lecture them on how to behave.

They weren't complaining about how people were talking to one another—they’re fine with that—but I’m pretty sure they’re all at an age where they don't really need someone coming in to lecture them.

Why isn't there a single fan thread with clear guidelines in the intro post?

Is it really that much trouble? Just open one thread for the fans and one for the critics, put warnings in both, and everything would be smooth sailing here in America. I don't get why we have to pretend the other threads are "fan threads" when they don't actually have any rules and anyone can post in them. That's how the haters end up bleeding into the fan discussions and totally ruining them. It gets to the point where you can barely talk about football without someone getting under your skin with random troll posts calling people names, accusing teams of being losers, or saying they support criminals—you know, the usual nonsense.

---------

To be honest, I didn't even bother opening this hate thread until I realized that all those annoying types from that specific thread were constantly jumping into every single national team discussion to troll, post insults, and cheer for whoever we happen to be playing against. That is quite literally the only reason I ever stepped foot in your thread. When I first saw it, I skipped right over it because the name made it obvious it was just going to be childish stuff, similar to YouTube comments, which—personally—just doesn't interest me. And I’d bet anything that the main reason fans of the national team end up in your thread is because you manage to clutter up every other topic on the sub with the same repetitive, exhausting jokes—it happened to me, too. Seriously, if I didn't have to deal with you guys 24/7 in every other thread, I wouldn't have entered this one. Most of the other 80% of users feel the same way. You could write all the little poems you want from now until tomorrow, and most people wouldn't even pay you any attention.

Jesse Howard43 said:Why isn't there a single fan thread with clear guidelines in the opening post?

Is it truly such an insurmountable task to simply open one dedicated thread for each side, include the necessary warnings in both, and ensure everything remains peaceful in America? I struggle to comprehend why we must pretend that other threads are somehow "fan-driven" when they lack any specific warnings and remain open for anyone to contribute. This lack of structure allows the haters to descend upon those fan threads as well, polluting them so thoroughly that it becomes nearly impossible to discuss soccer normally without someone constantly grating on your nerves with random trolling comments—calling people losers, sheep, or criminals, or claiming we'll lose everything, and the list goes on and on...

---------

I didn't even bother opening this hateful thread until I realized that all those exhausting individuals from that very discussion were migrating to every single national team match thread to constantly troll and spout nonsense about how much they hate us, cheering for every single opponent we face. That is quite literally the sole reason I ever stepped foot into your thread; when I first saw it, I immediately dismissed it because the title made it obvious it was just some childish nonsense akin to YouTube comments, which frankly doesn't interest me at all. And I would stake my reputation on the fact that the primary reason fans of the national team end up in your thread is precisely because you manage to pollute every other thread on this subforum by repeating the same tiresome jokes over and over, which is exactly what happened to me. In all honesty, if I hadn't been forced to read your commentary twenty-four hours a day in every single topic, I never would have entered your thread in the first place. The same applies to perhaps eighty percent of other users. You could go off and write your little poems from morning until night for all I care.

Sixty-four posts in a thread he claims not to care about. 🙏🙏🙏

Jesse Howard43 said:So, I was just looking through the threads and it hit me—why is it that none of these fan groups actually include a clear set of guidelines or a "code of conduct" right there in the opening post? It feels like we're missing that roadmap to keep things from getting messy.

Is it really that much to ask? Just open one thread for one side and one thread for the other, put warnings on both, and everyone just lives in peace. I honestly don't get why people are suddenly acting like the other threads are "fanboy" territory when there aren't even any rules or warnings in them, leaving them wide open for anyone to say whatever they want. It’s getting ridiculous because all the haters just flock to those fan threads and completely trash them. It makes it almost impossible to actually talk about football without someone constantly getting under your skin with random troll comments—calling people names, calling us losers, saying we support criminals, or just wishing for us to lose everything. It's just an endless cycle of nonsense.

---------

Look, I didn't even start this whole hate thread myself. I didn’t really wrap my head around it until now, but it seems like all those high-strung trolls from that one specific thread always migrate over to every single national team match discussion. It’s the same old story: they show up just to talk trash, act obnoxious, and cheer for literally whoever we're playing against. Honestly, it's getting a bit much. Honestly, this thread is pretty much the only reason I’ve even bothered to show up here. Honestly, the first time I saw her name, I actually crossed myself. I mean, I knew right then and there exactly what kind of situation I was getting into. Honestly, it all feels a little bit like childish antics to me. Honestly, the whole YouTube comment vibe just isn't my thing. But look, I’ll go on record right now: the real reason those die-hard fans keep crashing your thread is because you guys tend to clutter up basically every other discussion on this sub with the same exhausted jokes over and over. I know it from personal experience—I had to deal with it myself. Realistically, if I hadn't been stuck reading your stuff 24/7 across every single topic, I probably wouldn't have even clicked on this thread in the first place. And honestly? God, I really can't stand John—and no, I’m definitely not talking about John Wayne.

Look, I’m only bringing this up because you guys have been getting under my skin in all my other threads—I can see now that this specific topic is basically the root of all the friction here. Please, just try to follow my logic—for God's sake. I’m honestly just sitting here waiting for that one guy to show up and tell me I’m not allowed to post this given how much I contribute, only for him to immediately start quoting the thread rules and calling for everyone to get banned. That’s just the reality of how things work on the sports subreddits.

Maria Fowler39 said:And besides—did anyone actually tell you that you couldn't open it?

Alright, so how am I supposed to add a moderator warning to the opening post? I mean, what exactly are we even talking about here... 🤷

Anyway, someone started a dedicated thread just for fans to talk about the game—since the mods locked the other one—so now we’re all piled into this single one again. It's basically the same old story.

Here's a snippet from the opening post:
Master said:Let’s keep this thread strictly for those of us planning to cheer on the national team—leave all the politics, intelligence agencies, and other nonsense for a different topic.

So, there were actually two different threads going for the match against England. The first one was started by one of those guys who is always rooting against us—but once this second thread (Master) popped up, that first one got shut down. Now everyone is piling into this one, including all the haters, even though the author originally intended for this space to be just for us Americans who are actually pulling for our team.

And then you have the nerve to ask me who’s actually stopping me from starting a thread?

hollowdriver13 said:You're saying you weren't trolling when you went there? Look, he can't just start a new thread because—get this—he's just some "regular guy" without the "authority" to set rules that everyone has to follow. Only a moderator gets those powers, which, honestly, I’m shocked you don't realize that since you *are* one of the moderators. But hey, whatever...

If you guys were actually being even remotely fair or decent—or if you at least tried to *act* like you were—you would have just opened two SEPARATE THREADS. One for all the haters where they aren't allowed to post or try to "lecture" everyone else, and a second thread where those same haters wouldn't be allowed to clutter things up with their "everything should burn down" or "I hate everything" nonsense.

But since you aren't fair and you aren't decent, of course there's only ever one thread available—the one where the haters get a free pass, while everyone else gets banned just to "clean up" the board from anyone who isn't part of their little club. And then, of course, every single thing they write gets backed up by biased moderators.

So yeah, this is just more proof that this whole place is a biased forum run by biased mods who aren't even bothering to pretend they're being neutral anymore. Having one single thread with rules that only benefit one specific group of users is a textbook example of bias and total hypocrisy.

That’s just not how it went down. You can clearly see that the "haters" weren't tearing up the N/A thread nearly as much as you're trying to make it look. It wasn't like people couldn't follow the game or anything—from the moment the haters showed up, it was mostly just jokes about Cosic and some comments about Dalicev’s weird 4-attacker tactic, which people kept comparing to playing old-school PES or FIFA.

Once we grabbed the win and things settled down, you and a few other moralizing types spent the whole night posting and dragging everyone, and basically, that thread was trashed from then on. That's probably why you ended up banned anyway, since you were basically leading the charge that night.

Look, the suggestion was made right away to just start your own thread on another page or further down the list once Ziggy Pop tried to troll everyone at the jump. It wasn't like the mods nuked this thing out of nowhere; Hildegard actually opened it up. And since the mods have learned from past threads where people kept crashing "hater" threads, they put a warning up.

If you guys had just started your own thing and maybe asked a mod to put a similar warning on ProRepKit, I’m pretty sure that would’ve happened too.

But I guess it was just more fun to head over there and stir the pot, and well... look how that turned out.
