Harold Evans4 said:Grace Jones86, no offense, but since you’re commenting in this section of the subforum, I’ll give it to you straight.
Your attitude and writing style have always been incredibly bizarre. Most people would just call your posts trolling, flame wars, or plain old playing dumb.
You aren't objective at all, especially when discussing the tech industry—which is basically what most of your posts boil down to. Reading your descriptions, you make it sound like you're describing Auschwitz rather than an American IT professional's workplace. You paint the entire industry as a massive victim of some imaginary persecution targeting you.
It isn't just me; plenty of other users here have noticed that you clearly went through some kind of work trauma, and now you're just venting those frustrations through your posts.
And while I agree that nobody should tolerate being insulted or belittled by other users, your specific way of expressing yourself is exactly what attracts that kind of toxic feedback, so I'm not surprised one bit.
I asked you to tone it down because this isn't a constructive way to have a discussion.

And what exactly did you just explain?

I don't understand your post at all in the context of the basic rules of communication on this American forum. 😕

As for my writing style, if we're going there, there have been at least 10, maybe 20 users on that specific thread alone (not counting the hundreds of others across this entire site) who explicitly or implicitly praise and value my posts. ☕
And the people who actually like how I write are mostly the top-tier contributors on this whole damn American forum, like JPK and many others...

The ones who don't necessarily praise me usually just engage in a solid debate over my views—which is the whole point of a forum. It shouldn't be a giant circle jerk where everyone just agrees so they don't have to deal with actual input. It's not like everyone is a degenerate flamewarmer looking to derail discussions like a few of those other users.

When has anyone even noticed one of your posts? How am I a negative presence then?
What are you even talking about, my dear friend?

edit:
Here is an example of you writing baseless nonsense about me, which is why you shouldn't be on the moderation team...

Saying that my descriptions sound like I'm describing Auschwitz instead of the IT sector isn't some invention or "trolling" on my part. It's identical to the experiences shared by a mountain of engineer users in that thread, and in other threads regarding the economy or career paths.
Your attempt to manufacture a "Grace Jones86 case" where I'm supposedly trolling about bad experiences is disgusting and immature. Truly childish and miles away from having any profile for a moderator or anything else...
You're fabricating this because I write a lot and I write hard. Either you have a problem because you don't get it (which is pathetic), or because you can't just write high-quality content on this forum due to censorship (which is even more pathetic).

Of course certain takes are gonna land well with some people on here. You know how to spin the truth to make it sound super extreme. And honestly, deciding who the "best" user is is just your own subjective opinion, so I’m assuming you’re really just thirsty for attention and applause because of how you talk. That’s my take anyway, obviously. 😁
You’ve got a massive ego and you constantly label anyone who disagrees with you as stupid, shallow, or brainless. The second someone pushes back, you start whining because you can't handle even a little criticism. Just look at this example right here—the moment we commented on your stuff, you immediately went on the attack against us. What exactly did you think was going to happen?
As for what kind of user I am or whether my posts get noticed, that has absolutely nothing to do with your issues. It's pure projection. In my time on this site, I've only picked up three strikes, and two of those were for off-topic stuff... I think that says plenty about how I carry myself. And when it comes to moderating, I genuinely try to be fair to everyone. I always give a warning before handing out a strike. You can see my moderator posts in red whenever a thread starts heading south; I try to set boundaries early so I don't have to go on a massive ban spree for trolling, off-topic nonsense, or flame wars. There's plenty of stuff to deal with on the subforum.

I think I've made my point clear enough with this post, and it's up to the admins to decide if your accusations actually hold water. I'm done debating this.

I expect high-level debate, which naturally demands applause and respect for top-tier contributors like myself... 🙂

☕

which also means making the mods uncomfortable when someone of my caliber 😁 shows up on their threads... leading them to actively suppress quality posts and let trolls tear apart regular users just to shut down meaningful discussion.
It’s a classic case of jealousy leading straight to social ostracism.

Pathetic.
