Since absolutely nothing is being done about the moderator bias regarding the God or Multiverses thread, I’m just gonna copy-paste the post I already wrote over in the Code of Conduct and Book of Religious Complaints thread:

If cosmictinker21 uses post 1147 in the God or Multiverses thread to basically sign off on everything said by el. baby—effectively backing someone who already got a grossly insulting red card—then cosmictinker21 deserves a red card too!

And while we're at it, what exactly was my "insult" that earned me a red card? I told cosmictinker21 she's the Perfect Entity for siding with the Greatest INSOLENCE. Just because I call the official theory behind the World Trade Center collapse the Greatest INSOLENCE doesn't mean I'm insulting her. The only part of that sentence that could even remotely sound like an insult is calling her a Perfect Entity. But the fact remains: since she denies that the official WTC collapse story is a conspiracy and insists it's the absolute truth, she is OPENLY siding with the people accused of orchestrating the WTC destruction—people who couldn't have possibly been involved—which is why I rightfully call it the Greatest INSOLENCE.

So, I am STRONGLY INSISTING that my red card be removed!!!
I’m also STRONGLY INSISTING that cosmictinker21 gets a red card for AGREEING with el. baby's views—the exact same views that got el. baby a red card in the first place!

Regarding how cosmictinker21 keeps coming back to my God or Multiverses thread with the sole intention of provoking me—and she showed up again today with that same sole purpose—she isn't even posting anything related to the topic. Instead, she's exclusively busy nitpicking whether I have the right to post a link in my own damn thread or not; while I'm just trying to moderate my own discussion, she's trying to push me toward some random PDF instead of staying in my thread. We’ve already had a massive debate about this specific provocation on this thread, and so far, she has come out COMPLETELY UNJUSTIFIED AND COMPLETELY UNTOUCHABLE. I warned then that if this wasn't handled properly, I’d take this to the wider community and the administrator. Nothing happened then, and now we’re seeing an even bigger injustice starting!!!

This time, I’m taking this all the way to the end!

I’m asking for a careful review of who is persistently provoking and insulting people in this thread, and how double standards are being applied—where a theist's minor comments are stretched to the limit just to justify a sanction, while the eyes of the moderators are persistently turned away from blatant insults thrown by atheists.

Hey, I actually just responded to your complaint regarding KZ-Religion. It didn't even cross my mind to check this section, but I happened to open it by accident. You filed that complaint at 6:16 PM, and now it's already 8:00 PM. Let’s not get carried away or make a mountain out of a molehill regarding digital space. This whole thing was unnecessary—you really could have, and should have, just waited a bit for a response.

Look, I don't have anything against the red brigade, I just think everything was completely misinterpreted. My "me too" comment was actually directed at the facepalm—I’m just cringing at the nonsense driftingfalcon3 has been peddling for days now. That interpretation wouldn't make sense in any universe. As for the swearing in my post, obviously, I don't condone that sort of thing. It should be pretty clear that that kind of behavior isn't really part of my persona. It’s fine, though; it's just the internet. I'm not angry, I just didn't explain myself well enough... I included the facepalm thinking people would realize what I was actually agreeing with. And this whole ridiculous situation regarding my signature is honestly beneath contempt. It's obvious some people here are just totally out of their depth. Anyway, take care, and I hope driftingfalcon3 feels a bit more vindicated now. It wouldn't be good if he had a heart attack over such a misunderstanding.😁

ps: I'm trying my best to avoid bringing up the whole premarital innocence debate. 😁

“The part where you said 'me too' referred to the facepalm because you're disgusted by the stupidity” — that is precisely why you received a red card. See, the post you agreed with was flagged specifically because of the line “I’ve never met anyone stupider than you”, which is why driftingfalcon3 was justified in lashing out and asking for you to get a red card as well.

Regarding the swearing: unless we are talking about swearing at forum members, their families, or using extremely crude, gutter language—or excessive use of those "Texan" profanities—we don't sanction it. As it states in the rule of Religion:

Being crude isn't acceptable. We aren't demanding the level of decorum you'd see on an evening news broadcast, but let's not overdo it.

So, that particular logic applies;

Saying "he/she is an idiot, a moron..." is sanctioned just as much as saying "I THINK he/she is an idiot, a moron..."

What most people fail to grasp and distinguish—and this includes the moderators themselves—is the difference between
1. a conclusive statement
2. an opinion

In any decent democratic society, within a liberal and civil environment, making a definitive claim versus posing a speculative one is often walking a tightrope... though such a distinction would collapse instantly in a court of law... because asserting that someone is wrong and merely thinking someone is wrong are as different as night and day.

In other words, "I think" is the magic word used to mask what we might actually believe... whereas freedom of speech protects opinions, but not necessarily intent.

For example;

"I think Perin's comment is childish and foolish... because of X and Y (argument)?!" (this shouldn't be sanctioned, as it's an expressed opinion which guarantees so-called freedom of speech and thought)

"Pero is a childish fool... because of X and Y..." (absolute sanction, because a direct insult is presented as a fact rather than an opinion, regardless of the argument provided)

And again, I realize I'm walking a fine line here... but this distinction really ought to be made, though of course, there must be a limit to insults disguised under the guise of "I think," otherwise the loophole could be easily abused.

I say this from my own real-life experience in the courtroom (where I served as a prosecutor)... and also from my experience on internet forums. Even if it looks identical from an administrator's perspective, higher laws and actual courts have ruled that "I think you're an idiot" is not the same thing as "you are an idiot." It's a paradoxical reality that humbles us mere mortals (and forum admins alike)... but that is how it works in practice. If we insist on adhering to the law, then who are we—or these little forum administrators—to claim that "you are..." and "I think you are..." are both identical insults? From this viewpoint, it almost seems as if the admins of certain forums view themselves as Gods above the laws of the country they live in... much like that old American adage: "My house, my rules." 😉

I'm not sure why you're elaborating on this now, because there isn't really a dilemma regarding the glaring difference between saying "you are stupid" and "you are talking nonsense." That distinction hasn't been ignored here. In fact, the user was handed a red card because they agreed with and signed off on a post that had already earned a red card for being insulting, specifically because they wrote: "You are definitely the stupidest person I've ever met!". i [URL="']here and here
Look, it's pretty straightforward.

But let me add: if you told someone in real life, "I think you're an idiot," that still constitutes an insult. You're likely using "I think" to soften the blow, whereas saying "what you are saying is, in my opinion, foolish" is something else entirely.

Look, we aren't talking about "trash talk" here; this user was sanctioned specifically for insults. I believe I’ve already clarified which kinds of behavior actually trigger a penalty. Using a word like "damn" or some mild slang isn't something I think warrants a ban. This is an online forum—it's supposed to reflect real people and real conversations. We maintain a basic code of conduct to keep things orderly, but we aren't trying to sanitize everything or script every single post. If you feel strongly about it, feel free to start a new thread over in the PZK section to discuss the definition of "trash talk."

My comments were intended as a general observation regarding the frequent issue of administrative errors... and I wasn't just referring to this specific forum, but rather the broader landscape, which, truth be told, even this platform isn't entirely exempt from.

So, please understand there was no personal animosity or direct targeting involved.

And as a side note; while I haven't actively participated in any specific debates, I believe I maintain the right to express an opinion that doesn't necessarily contradict those held by el.bebi or cosmictinker21....though, I suppose I should probably brace myself for a ban now, shouldn't I? 🙂

You aren't going to get banned, but you might catch a red card if you keep this up since you're totally off-topic. This is specifically driftingfalcon3's complaint about one particular issue, and there really isn't any need to turn it into a massive, generalized debate.

Yes, you make a fair point... digital space is an expensive commodity, where we effectively pay for every single word in every post, yet we deal with constant clutter and endless tangents that breed chaos on the forum... if I really think about it, we should probably just ban at least 50% of the users to finally establish some semblance of order... let's start with me, for instance. 🙂

adios 👋

Check this out, I’m gonna write this post:

You're totally right that I should've just sat tight and waited, but honestly, I've learned my lesson the hard way—if you look back at post #370 in this thread, you'll see I already filed a formal complaint about cosmictinker21's constant trolling. Since nothing actually got done when I spoke up last time, I figured history was just going to repeat itself, so I didn't waste any more time and went straight to the PDF for Messages, Complaints, and Comments.

Thanks for the red card for cosmictinker21, but honestly, the job isn't finished yet. I actually need that penalty lifted because I haven't insulted anyone here. Telling cosmictinker21 that she’s acting like a perfect entity by participating in something she OPENLY admits to supporting—specifically her stance on the official theory regarding the collapse of the World Trade Center—CANNOT BE CONSIDERED AN INSULT. How I choose to label the SYSTEMATIC LIES told by people who kill 3,000 innocent Americans and then try to pin it on some made-up group of Arabs is entirely up to me, and calling that despicable crime what I did is actually the mildest way I could have put it.

Look, at the end of the day, this isn't even about insulting cosmictinker21, because that just didn't happen. Taking a side in what I consider to be the GREATEST INSOLENCE imaginable is perfectly legitimate—just like it’s totally fair for someone bragging about being involved in it to claim they are the Perfect Entity for participating in such a thing. Honestly, anyone who is that hardcore a supporter of anything, even this Great Insolence (which is honestly the most polite way I can put it, given how much of a crime it actually is), is nothing more than the Perfect Entity for being part of it.

That isn't an insult by any damn standard! Are you seriously going to strip that red card from me, or am I gonna have to copy-paste this entire mess over to Messages, Complaints, and Comments again?

Thanks, and my bad for rushing through those messages, complaints, and comments earlier.
I said I was going to see this through to the end, and damn right I am, because I’m in the right here—I'm just a victim of that legendary, nonstop terror from ego.

I mean, look, if ego actually meant what he said regarding that specific part—the one I pointed out in my analysis as being completely irrelevant to why I got a red card—then maybe we’d actually have something to work with here. We might even have some actual material for a potential battle, even if it feels like a lost cause from the jump, where ego could try to spin some logical argument claiming that the disputed section was somehow the legitimate basis for my red card.

Man, honestly, Ego is digging himself such a deep hole right now that there’s no way anyone in this pit is ever getting him out. This whole mess is basically just Ego taking my own words and throwing them back at me.

So, if you really ask me... Seriously though, what kind of IQ do you actually need to have to pull this off? What kind of connection is that even supposed to be?! Like, seriously, what does this have to do with insulting ANYONE? Honestly, it’s just straight-up terrifying how much you let yourself get away with. Giving me a red card over a question that was completely harmless is just insane. If people were getting banned for stuff like this, Reddit would probably shut down within twenty-four hours. 🙂

I’m asking for an URGENT reversal on this ABSOLUTELY UNJUST red card I just got!
Yo, you seriously need to go look at what the administrator and Kevin sent over—check out that whole mess regarding the religion complaint and the back-and-forth in the code of conduct and the book of religious complaints... 🤦 Seriously though, that's just mind-blowing.

I find your analogy rather apt, as it underscores exactly the point I was making regarding the distinction between merely stating a fact and expressing an opinion; there is a difference between saying
"I think you're being foolish..." and "you are foolish."

Your IQ example serves as a subtle rhetorical device to convey the underlying message—that someone is lacking in intellect, or in this specific instance, possesses a low IQ.🙂

But, as I previously noted, the inclusion of "I think" is the loophole, which leads me to agree with your sentiment that the red card was unmerited, even if we all understand precisely what was implied by that inquiry regarding IQ levels.😉

Hey, Chief, last time Nicole James slapped me with a red card, you stepped in and pulled it back because you clearly saw she was totally overstepping. Well, the exact same thing just happened again. So why aren't you stepping up this time?

Would you really let Nicole James hand out a ban to some atheist just for something like this? Look, Nicole James doesn't even hand out cards to atheists when they’re openly being disrespectful, at least not until the discussion moves to the general forums where all this insane injustice can finally be exposed to everyone else. Basically, it's impossible for Nicole James to give an atheist an undeserved card because she isn't handing out cards to them even when they practically deserve hundreds of them. I'm not saying she acts like this every single second, but most of the time, that's how it goes.

If Nicole James gave me an unfair card last time, and now she's gone and given me another one that I didn't earn—especially considering we had to file a formal complaint just to get a red card issued for maher18, even though she’s been the root cause of basically every massive blowout in that thread—then it is the ABSOLUTE MINIMUM that this undeserved card gets wiped from my record.

And if there's no intention of clearing it, then the absolute, bare minimum requirement is to actually explain WHY you won't take this red card off!

Just find me one. I don't even know where to start with this one... honestly, just such a vibe. post u The entire history of this forum... man, looking back at everything we've posted here is just wild, honestly. So some random guy gets slapped with penalty points on this forum, and then suddenly you think you’ve got the right to throw that red flag at me too? Give me a break.

When I say "that kind of post," I’m talking about those moments when someone on the forum actually starts speaking their mind and really gets into it! Pretty much just whatever, man.I mean, like, seriously? Honestly, how low does your IQ actually have to be to just completely miss the point? Like, seriously, what kind of brain function are we even talking about here??

Maybe the answer is 140, maybe it's 160, or maybe it's just 20—who even knows? It’s an open question. But honestly, just because you or anyone else thinks you need an IQ north of 58 to figure out the right answer doesn't mean there's some hidden insult baked into the question itself. It really has absolutely nothing to do with that!

Look, even if you could somehow prove that my sentence was actually aiming for an implicit insult—and let’s be real, you can't ever truly prove that kind of thing—you still need to be ready for the fallout. So true! That’s such a massive reach, honestly—that sentence is way too controversial for an interpretation that stretched like that! Just totally average. Look, if anyone on this board has ever been slapped with penalty points before, then it was just straight-up unprovoked aggression—just like what you’re pulling on me right now. As a moderator, you are engaging in some seriously massive, unfair harassment just because I don't agree with you!

Just give me one single example! The entire history of this forum. Seriously, where on earth does anyone get points for using such incredibly bland, cookie-cutter phrasing? If I had to guess, I’d say you’d only find that kind of stuff in some dry theology lecture. But since those are the exact posts you unfairly flagged—and there's no way in hell you're actually going to show them to us—we aren't exactly shaking in our boots!

You seriously can't find an example like that? Fine then, go ahead and start imposing these brand new TERRORIST standards on everyone in this forum. Huge props to you and anyone else out there giving this nonsense their blessing!!!

Hell yeah! Let's gooooo!

I honestly think the rules on the Religion board need a total overhaul regarding how individuals interact...

First off, what really gets under my skin is that there isn't a SINGLE thread dedicated solely to believers that doesn't get absolutely DESTROYED by atheists with their constant, unnecessary comments... I get it, they have their own opinions and all that, but they’re basically just here to stir the pot on those specific topics, mocking people and such. It's incredibly frustrating because you can't even have a decent discussion without it devolving into the same old repetitive argument: God doesn't exist vs. God exists...

We need to implement rules where provocation from either side is strictly forbidden, and everyone actually follows them—simple as that. It really makes no sense to treat creationists and others like rabid dogs fighting in the street... I'll admit, I've been one of them myself at times... But man, the whole religious section is starting to feel pretty toxic to me!
