Could someone please explain why the astrology thread on the main board was shut down?

That specific discussion had nothing to do with the general chat room; it served an entirely different purpose and occupied its own unique niche, so I am genuinely at a loss as to why Nathan Turner3 decided to close it just now.

In my confusion, I accidentally started a new thread on the main board instead of posting it here in the dedicated section.
I honestly have no idea how to go about deleting it.

Locked. This isn't an astrology discussion, it's just a chat thread. Say whatever you want, but there are plenty of actual astrology threads elsewhere on the forum if you guys want to dive deep into those topics instead.

It wasn’t merely a discussion thread; it was a sanctuary where we could dive deep into any topic under the sun regarding astrology without looking over our shoulders. We didn't have to fear some power-tripping moderator swooping in to claim we were "off-topic," accusing us of trolling just because they felt slighted, or worse, deleting and editing our posts to suit their own personal whims. It was a space where people felt truly comfortable exploring their passion for astrology in a way that felt genuine and engaging.

There are astrology threads scattered across both Forest and the USA, where users post things far beyond what you'd find in a standard astrology PDF. But believe me when I say this specific thread held more weight and resonated much more deeply with the community than any static document ever could—you have no idea the caliber of people who contributed to those discussions. 🕺

I am asking you, quite sincerely, to please reconsider and reopen it for us.
At the very least, please leave that one thread intact; it serves as a repository for all the profound analyses where we poured both our precious time and our hard-earned expertise.

I still think the topic on the main board drifted way too much into "chat territory" since most of the posts felt more like casual banter. Like I said, there are plenty of other places for small talk and astrology.

That said, I believe there’s some actual substance left in there—those deep dives you call "analyses"—so I’m not planning on deleting it. You can still access it whenever you want to revisit something or pick up where you left off in a different thread.
