Who is the ultimate bad Mother Fucker of Hollywood?

Look, I realize the title of this thread is a bit unconventional—I honestly couldn't figure out how to phrase it without being specific about what I mean—but I'm talking about those actors who play those certain types of roles, the real "bad Mother Fucker" types you absolutely wouldn't want to cross 😁

Essentially, I’m referring to actors who have effectively "bought" that persona of a hardened, gritty "bad mother fucker" through their performances, even when they're playing the good guys (which is usually when it's most effective)... For me personally, there is only one true icon in this category, and he always will be; if I think about it, he basically pioneered that whole "unorthodox cop" and "bad mother fucker" archetype, which applies to his western films as well—of course, we're talking about none other than Clint Eastwood 🙂

As for the others, my votes would go to Samuel L. Jackson (who is actually the reason I'm targeting this vibe in the poll and why it's named after him), Jason Statham, and the mustachioed Burt Reynolds 🤣—that guy with the mustache and the look, just a total rebel type 😁
Joe Pesci is also a heavy hitter here; looking at his role in Goodfellas, you definitely wouldn't want to try closing any business deals with him 🙂

Bruce Willis carries that image too, though in many cases, his portrayal feels almost overly aggressive—as if he's just leaning into the reputation—but he's still a bad mother fucker... Anyway, I hope you all get the point of this topic, and my apologies if I missed any of your favorites in the poll

I'd agree on Eastwood, too. Those two feel like the perfect fit for this category. Guys like Vin Diesel feel more like muscle-for-hire without much character; they don't really belong here. Maybe Jason, in something like Transporter, or maybe Chelios—he's definitely a bad Mother Fucker.

Liam Neeson also comes to mind. I wouldn't want to hear his voice on my voicemail either. 😉

Clint Eastwood is in a league of his alone... from the Dirty Harry series to Gran Torino and Heartbreak Ridge... 🙏

He might not be the youngest or the most buff guy on screen, but he’s a total badass who knows how to sell it. Dirty Harry is basically the king of detectives 😁

Signed. You can tell throughout the whole movie she played that part with some serious grit. She really leaned into it, using her entire repertoire of bad-ass stares and facial expressions to make it feel real.

There are plenty of guys I’d throw into my top tier if I could, but if I’m forced to pick just one, I guess it’s gotta be Bruce Willis.
