Dear Moderators,

I feel my situation is a textbook case of targeted harassment aimed at someone with differing ideological views.

Since this issue has branched out into several different topics, I can't just report a single post.

First off, some users actually made death threats against me . Thanks to the current moderation policy, they were given a warning ban. Now that they know they’ll get banned for that, they’ve pivoted to threatening me with bans instead—either they actually have connections with certain mods, or they're just shouting into the wind.

Most of these people are attacking me without any actual arguments. It seems to bother them that I cite my SOURCES, including historical texts, expert statements, documentaries, and PDF archives that contradict their worldview. I've pointed out that their claims simply don't hold water ( yet they keep going, meaning verifiable facts don't interest them.

My second issue involves complaints about my REFERENCES and supporting citations, even though I explicitly mention whenever a source might be debatable. If a source is questionable for others, why shouldn't it be for me? I am actively working to prove the logic, relevance, and accuracy , showing that the Rankovic report aligns with CIA findings, demographic analyses, and similar data

Here are the specific examples:
A. Unsubstantiated attacks, threats of being banned, insults, and my response to them:
B. This user claiming to have ties to the moderators who would ban me:
C. Here are more baseless attacks:
D. In addition to slandering me, this user is slandering public figures and news outlet authors, which is a legal matter and potentially an issue for the site owners themselves:
E. This user has insulted and slandered me multiple times; here, they've even tried to play psychiatrist by diagnosing me with hypergraphia, a tactic others are now using against me just because they disagree with me:
F. I'll admit, I responded to an insult with an insult here, which is my own shame:
G. This user constantly accuses me of things; here, they accused me of relying on only one single REFERENCE, it’s escalated now because his analysis makes it easy to expose his lies. Just look at point E, where you see other examples of people making ungrounded personal attacks against the same user
.
I apologize, because I’ve actually started firing back with insults myself sometimes instead of just ignoring them.

I'm noticing that most of the friction revolves around Josip Broz Marshall. If they want, they could just move this to the Religion subforum and then ban any criticism of Marshall altogether. It reminds me of how certain left-wing hate speech operates in the mainstream media (

And obviously, this ties into faith, since the Bishop recognized that we need to renounce Marshall as a religious symbol ( and translated that into an American context as "Are you renouncing Satan?", using him as an allusion. But I'm more interested in a historiographical overview, so let's make it a topic for both the History and Religion subforums.

It strikes me as incredibly strange that from 2007 to 2017, only four pages were written about Father Anti Starcevic—and those pages were mostly suggestive, low-blow questions—while the people who actually wrote them got banned. I'm really curious to see how my REFERENCED posts will end up, and how I personally will fare,

Anyway, I want the History subforum to become a place for discussion based on verifiable arguments, where you can read actual debate featuring both recent and older historiography. I don't want someone who provides REFERENCES and helps the topic to be mocked as a weirdo. Maybe I am a weirdo, but I work like a professional—or at least I try to.

I don't have major complaints about the moderators for now, except regarding the Politics subforum, .

I understand this forum is privately owned and that some users are treated as privileged despite their lack of quality just to drive up traffic, but all I'm asking is to be able to contribute peacefully to the History section with verifiable arguments. Once we move past the era of communist dictatorships, only the spaces that embrace the Truth will thrive; the rest will meet the fate of a defeated totalitarian regime. So, it's in the interest of the site to allow us to work without interference and engage in cultural discussion according to the History subforum's internal rules.

I trust the moderators will make fair and honest pedagogical decisions. My only interest is that it's based on the Truth. This is a complex situation, so I figured I'd just speak up.

I don't want to be judged or banned based on lies without having the right to defend myself, much like how civilians and broken soldiers were treated in 1945, or figures like Aloysius Stepinac or Andrija Hebrang.

Respectfully,

Kyle Jackson16 - student and educator

Just another shot at me, though I’ll give them credit for being constructive, so I kept my response just as civil

Basically, this person thinks having a Master's or a PhD in the subject we're debating doesn't actually matter.

Plus, they feel entitled to start slapping "political bias" labels on certain news outlets.

Kyle Jackson16 - student and educator, just here to contribute to the knowledge base, the discussions, and the culture on this forum.

A confession from someone born in America after Marshall passed away: "They taught us to be ashamed of anyone who dared to think differently...", writes Predrag Rajsic,

Some people on Reddit hate my guts. Privately, though? My peers usually start out embarrassed by me, but eventually, they come around to my side—especially once they do a little digging online.

I’m asking the mods to please take this seriously!

Just banning people and locking threads doesn't work; it just pushes the resentment underground.

Reddit carries a massive social weight that the moderators don't even realize!

This user, much like a few others here, keeps acting like I was out there fighting in the old civil wars back in the day. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve pointed out that I was born way after all those events took place,

On top of that, they’re calling me a fascist, even though I’ve already explained that those groups were actually more of a left-wing, anti-capitalist movement,

Honestly, the only thing I share with those extremists—which is basically what almost everyone in this country shares—is a belief in the importance of nation-building.

When does this nonsense end?!

I think I finally found where all the rage directed at me on this forum comes from.

It’s simply because I don't hold back—I say exactly what's on my mind.

In these posts, I lay out the reasoning, using both theory and real-world examples, to show how this behavior is actually a leftover from the old American totalitarian system.
A.
B.

I really want to spark a serious conversation about this societal issue, and right here on this forum too.

Relying on "disciplinary" measures like points or bans won't fix anything; they just push the problem under the rug, and it's a massive problem.

What kind of society have we become? Zdravko Mamic was shot after attending his father's memorial service—thankfully, he was only wounded,

It happened because he isn't afraid to speak his mind, just like me. I've actually received death threats right here on this forum before.

Moderators really have a chance to shape the culture of the country we live in through their approach.

All of us in these discussions need to step up and push back against the hatred being sown between us.

We need to listen to one another and respect different views using actual arguments, all while following the natural laws and the rules of this forum.

I’ve said it before and I’m warning you: this is a serious social issue! And moderators on this site can actually help! They just need to open up free discussion on all topics; we can fix this through civil conversation.

And who exactly was threatening you in the office? Why didn't you report it to the authorities? Can you actually provide proof of this threat?
Look, we’re talking about serious matters here; this isn't something to be trifled with. Both you and Mamić are prominent public figures.

Look, we’re talking about serious business here—this isn't something to joke around with. Both you and Mamić are major public figures.

Death threats get wiped from Reddit immediately after you report them—we all know how that goes. But let's be real: deleting a comment doesn't actually fix the underlying problem.

I’m just an anonymous user here, and honestly, this whole forum discussion feels exactly like the chatter you'd hear hanging out at a local bar.

Are we on the same page?

I’m just a face in the crowd here, but if you look at the discourse on major US message boards, it’s really just a microcosm of how people treat one another in real life.

Do we agree on that?

No, I don't "know that well." Honestly, it feels like you're exaggerating just to make your point sound more heavy-handed.

Or maybe you consider it a death threat when someone tells you to "go jump in a lake"?

Or maybe you view "go jump in a lake" as a literal death threat?

It’s probably for the best that the police didn't see this. Everyone would be under investigation—including the mods for deleting it, since that counts as a cover-up.

We can ask the moderator @Nice to send over the message from the "Communism" thread, which is being deleted along with that topic.

I totally get why the moderators do what they do—you really need a strong stomach to moderate this stuff. Just thinking about it gives me the chills.

What you mentioned isn't a death threat; it’s incitement to suicide.

Under Section 114, Subsection 1 of the US Penal Code (as published in The Washington Post), anyone who encourages another to commit suicide or assists them out of low motives, resulting in an attempt or completion, faces up to three years in prison.

Furthermore, per Subsection 2 of that same article, if such an act is committed against a child over fourteen or someone with significantly impaired mental capacity, the penalty increases to one to eight years in prison.

http://zakonipropisi.com/hr/zakon/ka...u-samoubojstvu

How can you possibly know if the person you're targeting isn't under 14 or struggling with suicidal depression?

In my opinion, even your signature falls into the category of "inciting suicide":
"When he had finally had enough of everything,
the firekeeper jumped from Hendrix's Bridge...
"

Let the moderators deliberate.

Users are responsible for what they post. As for the moderators, they're just following the site's community guidelines.

That's actually why anonymity is such a double-edged sword; when people can hide, inciting suicide becomes a very real danger. Plus, those unprofessional death threats really poison the social atmosphere, which can have actual real-world consequences.

Just look at the repeated physical attacks on Zdravko mamica, http://directnews.com/article/remains-of-the-man-95632/. I think there were even graffiti tags around Washington, D.C. calling for Zdravko to be taken out. For any decent person, if someone actually carried out an assassination after being incited like that, it would be a tragedy.

You probably haven't actually dug through the attorney filings or the court rulings. Sometimes dry facts can definitely look like garbage, but honestly, every single sentence—even a single word—can end up being the deciding factor.

I empathize with the moderators here; you need a certain level of stomach to handle this kind of moderation. It honestly gives me the chills.

What you’ve described isn't a death threat, but rather incitement to suicide.

Under Section 114, Subsection 1 of the Penal Code (as published in The New York Times), anyone who induces another to commit suicide or assists them out of low motives, leading to an actual or attempted suicide, shall be punished by imprisonment for up to three years.

As an exception to the aforementioned Subsection 1, anyone who commits an act from that subsection against a child over fourteen years old, or a person whose ability to perceive their own actions is significantly impaired, shall be punished by imprisonment for one to eight years, pursuant to Subsection 2 of the same article.

http://law.gov/penal-code/incitement-to-suicide

How do you know that the person you are directing such messages toward—if indeed you are doing so—is not under the age of 14 or in a depressive, suicidal state?

In my view, even your signature falls under the category of "inducing another to suicide":
"When he had finally had quite enough of everything,
the woodburner jumped from Hendrix's Bridge...
"

Let the moderators deliberate.

Man, I had no idea things had gotten this serious! 😲

Well, what are you waiting for? Go ahead, run straight to the wall and report me for my signature.

Every minute you spend hesitating could cost the life of some brainless right-winger who reads my signature and decides to jump into the Mississippi and stop breathing.

Come on, don't waste any more time; lives are at stake... 🤣

Thanks for the heads-up, but since this thread is titled "Your feedback, ideas, complaints, and comments: How to make the Forum better and more civil," I’m really trying to point out a few specific goals for how we should talk here:
A. Death threats or inciting violence should carry the strictest possible penalties.
B. Encouraging suicide should be completely off-limits.
C. We shouldn't be labeling or attacking people—whether they're users on the Forum, public figures, or news outlets—without actual arguments.
D. Everyone deserves respect. Discussions should be based on logic, which also means it's perfectly fine to say, "Hey, you have your opinion, but I disagree."
E. Labels like "fascist," "communist," or other political slurs shouldn't be thrown around unless that's how a user specifically identifies themselves.
F. One crime shouldn't be used to justify another.
G. Let's address issues openly instead of just "locking the door and banning someone" while the underlying problem stays exactly the same.
H. We need to stop the dogpiling on anyone who might be a little eccentric or different.

I’ve commented somewhere before about how this Forum feels like an elementary school playground. It follows the exact same pattern you see in a classroom. You have a pack of middle-school bullies picking on anyone who dares to disagree, while the teacher—the one who should actually be maintaining order—gives them quiet, underlying support. They even go as far as telling the victim they need to learn how to behave.

It’s the same story with these self-proclaimed "antifascists" and "militant atheists" on here (their labels, not mine). Being a bully is considered modern and "cool." Being against the Church or against conservatism is perfectly acceptable here, which is why this kind of behavior is tolerated. Honestly, I’m surprised any of the "conservative" users haven't been banned by now. I picked up a few vague warnings myself, so I realized pretty quickly that this is just a fight against windmills. We are simply on "their territory."

Here are a few classic examples of the double standards and hypocrisy I’ve noticed when you say:

A: Smith is a fat frog. 👍
B: Taritaš is a fat frog = hate speech, trolling.

A: He is a clerical fascist. 👍
B: He is a communist = hate speech, trolling.

And so on, and so forth...

It makes no sense. A specific group just happened to find their footing here, and they hold all the power. But when there is an actual gathering or a protest, they can't compare to the public shifts happening in America. Even if they wrote that...

There are 10,000 people here

And 10,000 people here

Source:

http://hr.n1info.com/a221867/Vijesti...-u-Slunju.html

Watch both videos for a few seconds. You tell me if those look like the same number of people.

This kind of disinformation generally spreads based on worldview, fueled by the fact that the leftists control the mainstream media, yet they still can't break through to the general public. It's a shame.

But when a counter-perspective outlet like CNN writes something, suddenly it's okay to call them fascists or "trash sites."

One-sidedness reigns supreme here. It isn't worth discussing politics, history, or current events that don't fit their narrative.
