I’m honestly not quite sure why people are calling the discus throw trolling when they don't seem to have any issue with the hammer and shot put 🤷. If you think about it, the men's hammer and shot are nearly twice as heavy as the women's versions, which naturally leads to those longer distances in the men's records. If the weights were actually doubled for everyone, maybe we'd see the same kind of comparison as we do with the discus, though I suppose there's always a chance it wouldn't make much difference anyway.
