Justin Gatlin—just like everyone else—has been chasing Usain Bolt since back in '04 or '05. You’ve gotta hand it to him, though; the guy’s persistence is wild, staying in the game this long despite those doping scandals nearly nuking his whole career.

Year after year, Bolt just seems to be losing that top gear—probably lacks the drive now, and honestly, he likely isn't training hard enough to fight off old age anymore. It’s a decent time to call it quits. He didn't take the gold, but he doesn't look too heartbroken about it either—I mean, he still walked away with the bronze.

Look, Ayana is an absolute beast. I mean, she’s clocked three sub-10 second runs in her career, grabbed two golds, and basically just steamrolled everyone else in those races
