Why is my mic buzzing?!?

So, I just picked up this new BM-800 mic and hooked it up to my PC, right? Everything seems fine until I actually try to use the damn thing—then all I hear is this constant, annoying background hiss. It’s driving me absolutely insane. I’ve tried basically every fix under the sun, messing with settings and swapping stuff out, but the static just keeps coming back... though sometimes it’ll randomly cut out for a second before starting up again. This has been going on for three days straight now and I'm losing my mind. If anyone actually knows what the hell is causing this noise, please, for the love of god, let me know.
