A few months back, I ended up with a partial ban—basically out of nowhere, without even a heads-up. It was totally unfair; clearly, there was just a massive misunderstanding between us.
I actually have nothing but respect for the mod team in general.👍

Hello Peter Peterson,

I would argue there is no misunderstanding regarding the partial ban. Prior to this, you were banned three times—specifically for creationism, anti-science trolling, and perpetual motion claims. Based on your posts, it is clear you apply this same style and content elsewhere, making you a perfect fit for Alternative or Religion. However, such content is neither appropriate nor welcome in Natural Science, so it is promptly removed.

Since it makes little sense to ban you nearly every time you post, a partial ban has been issued instead. This shouldn't be viewed as a major loss, as users from NS who wish to discuss the topics you write about also frequent Alternative and Religion, where you can engage with them. Meanwhile, the rules and customs of NS exist specifically for those users who want to be spared from such topics, ensuring they have a space to discuss matters undisturbed.

Hey, Zachary Mendoza2.
Fine, go ahead and keep locking things down—not that the moderation over at NS is anything to write home about anyway, especially since the opposition can use actual scientific methods to back up their arguments too.
In my view, just because someone's take doesn't perfectly align with what's on Wikipedia doesn't mean it’s some kind of anti-science trolling.

But hey, have it your way.

A backup of the post that got me banned (okay, maybe I went a little overboard with the sarcasm)
Quote:
For quite some time now, you can see how various "scientists" in "natural science" programs—pushing aside classic Darwinian evolutionary theory—are out there promoting the idea that aliens played a role in Earth's evolution.
So, there's one thing—actually, several things—that I want to dig into. If evolution is such an exact, airtight science, how on earth can you just race from one empty hole to another with it?
And again, if evolution is so definitively proven, why even bother reaching for aliens just to fill in the gaps within the theory?
Furthermore, if aliens actually jumpstarted evolution on Earth, what does that even prove? Because since the existence of aliens would effectively disprove the Christian God, what's the explanation for where the aliens themselves came from? Who is the divinity that created them?
If they weren't created by any God, does that mean they evolved too?
And if they did, why on earth are we even talking about them when it doesn't actually explain anything about the theory of evolution?
Especially considering most people don't even know—nor has it been proven—that aliens even exist in the first place?
