Hey there, fellow tech enthusiasts! I’m looking to help someone out with a PC build for school. He’ll mainly be running CREO 3, but he also wants to squeeze in some gaming sessions of CS:GO, League of Legends, and maybe even a bit of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 every now and then. He’s already put together this list:
an Intel Core i5-7500 (Tray version)
a Gigabyte card with 4GB GDDR5 and an RX 580
8 GB of DDR4 RAM
a 1TB Hard Drive
plus a Sharkoon VG-4 Red ATX case for about $595. He still needs to pick up a motherboard and an SSD, which should run him another $110 or so. So, thinking we're at a total of roughly $705—is this setup pretty solid, or could we actually grab something significantly better if we bumped the budget up to $700? Thanks!
PS: Just as a heads-up, I'm using Amazon.com for price comparisons here.
