Hey there—not sure if this is the right thread for this!
I could really use some help getting Rosetta Stone set up. I've got the installer ready to go, but I'm a bit stuck on the next steps—any advice?
First, make sure you close the app, then just copy (or move) the specific language files (.rsd files) over to:
- Windows XP : % Documents and Settings % \ All Users \ Application data \ Rosetta Stone \ Language Training \ AutoInstall
- Windows 7/8/10: "C:\ProgramData\Rosetta Stone\Language Training\AutoInstall"
Once those are moved, just launch the app—it should pick up the rsd file and handle the installation automatically.
After it's done, that .rsd archive file gets moved into an "Installed" subfolder within that same directory.
When the window pops up asking for your serial number, select The Activated Products Tab and then click continue Now to install The language pack updates , close out of Rosetta Stone application
To get those language pack updates running, shut down the Rosetta Stone application first. Then, grab those .rsd update files and drop them here:
- Windows XP : % Documents and Settings % \ All Users \ Application data \ Rosetta Stone \ Language Training \ Updates
- Windows 7/8/10: "C:\ProgramData\Rosetta Stone\Language Training\Updates"
Just a heads-up: if you don't see an "Updates" folder, you might need to manually create it.
Now open Rosetta Stone and IT will update The language packs.
