I’m having a massive headache with my Samsung 4K monitor. The worst part? The issue is totally unpredictable. It just hits whenever it feels like it.
I’m strictly using DisplayPort because, obviously, it’s the only way to actually get the resolution and refresh rate I need.

Here’s the deal: sometimes the DP connection just refuses to work—whether I’ve just booted up the PC or I'm waking it from standby. The only "fix" is to physically unplug the monitor from the wall. Once I plug it back in, the Samsung logo pops up and everything works perfectly fine again. I already tested the DP output on my graphics card using a DP-to-HDMI adapter while the screen was black, and the HDMI worked flawlessly. So the GPU isn't the culprit.

This glitch happens a few times a week, and then suddenly, it won't show up at all for a month or two. I even dragged it down to the repair center, but of course, it decided to act perfectly normal for those two days they had it. Typical, right?
What am I supposed to do here? Once this warranty expires and this thing starts acting up every single day, I’m going to be stuck with an expensive paperweight.
