I need some help here. My HP Envy 5000 suddenly stopped printing altogether. I swapped out all the ink colors, but that yellow light just keeps blinking at me. I've tried turning it off and back on, but
nothing happens. I was using original ink before, though I did switch the black one to a generic brand. When it quit on me, I went ahead and replaced every single color, but still nothing.
Do you think I need to clean the print head, or is there something else I should try first?

Find someone selling a Resetter for those CL 525 cartridges. Looks like you got sold some knockoff ink with empty chips.

It could be anything. Start by trying a hard reset—hold down the reset button for ten seconds. If that doesn't work, some people swear by the old "turn it off and on again" trick. Unplug it, yank the cartridge out, shove it back in, and power it up. Sometimes the machine just realizes you aren't giving up and finally starts cooperating. Also, pay attention to how many times that light flashes; it might not even be an ink issue.
