Sorry for bumping up my older thread like this...
I really wanted to give a quick shout-out to the guys who helped me pick out my parts.
So, here's what I ended up going with:
msi h81-p33
g1840
8gb crucial (single stick)

If I remember correctly, the total came out to about $331 at Best Buy.

I’m running my old sapphire hd 6570 2gb ddr3 on this build

And just for anyone stressing over whether their rig can actually handle Grand Theft Auto V—mine does it just fine on medium settings at 1080p. It ran just as smoothly on my old Athlon X2 2.7ghz with 4gb of ram. Honestly, if you aren't a hardcore gamer, you don't need anything more than this...

Thanks again, everyone.

If you're pulling 10-15 FPS, maybe. But if you think you can run Grand Theft Auto V on medium at 1080p using a dual-core Pentium and a DDR3 graphics card? No way. Just no. 🙂

I'm getting 45-50 FPS on medium at 720p with a GTS 450.

The GTS 450 is more than twice as fast as the HD 6570, so I guess those specs don't really hold up.
