Man, that thread over on the World news subforum about immigrants is a total cesspool of Nazism, blatant racism, and pure xenophobia. It’s honestly stomach-turning to read—and if you ask me, some of those posts are crossing the line into actual criminal territory.

Seriously, how much longer are the mods just going to sit there and let this garbage slide?
If this forum actually wants to be taken seriously for once, they need to lock that entire thing down immediately.

It’s always just so much easier to slap a "fascist" or "Nazi" label on anyone who doesn't see things exactly your way.
Just get used to the fact that there are plenty of people out there who believe the US should keep its borders closed to refugees.

Easy now, you're throwing around terms like "Nazi" way too lightly.

This isn't a Nazi thread...
But the hate speech and conspiracy theories? Those are definitely present. The moderation on this topic really needs to step up a notch...

I'm with you on that one.

but the hate speech and conspiracy theories are definitely real. This board needs much better moderation, period.

I agree with this, too.

We’ve been handing out warnings and bans left and right, and about two-thirds of the threads have been nuked. (Look, I get it—moderators are supposed to guide the conversation, not just act as janitors, but running a high-quality Politics sub would honestly require at least ten full-time mods working round the clock.)

If anyone has a suggestion that doesn't involve just shutting everything down, I'm all ears. We're happy to listen.

This isn't some Nazi thread.

Then what the hell is it?

One specific group of people is basically erasing the white race just by existing.
So, how exactly would you label that?

Bear, please stop trolling and actually try to contribute something useful to the conversation.

We delete and penalize racist posts. Honestly, we catch most of them, but given how often they pop up, I'm pretty sure a few slip through the cracks. That said, I don't believe censorship is the answer here. The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) situation is a massive political and humanitarian issue, and I have no intention of shutting down any debate regarding it.

I don't want to clutter things up by starting a whole new thread, so I’ll just keep this right here under the existing topic. To be honest, seeing these kinds of posts from the fans in the PDF isn't exactly a shocker or some freak occurrence—it happens all the time. It’s pretty clear that the moderators aren't doing a damn thing about it, either. 😵

George Soros said:So, who are we actually talking about? If you look at the big picture, the Washington-Paris-London axis is essentially the epicenter of all this trouble. It’s an establishment controlled by various figures like George Soros, the Rothschilds, the Bilderberg Group, and their ilk.

Their ultimate endgame is the destruction of the West—this historical incubator of the white race—to pave the way for a much more colorful version of Europe and, eventually, America. Think about it logically: in most cases, a mixed-race individual will end up being seen as inferior to their white parent, yet somehow positioned as superior to their Black parent. That’s exactly why they push multiculturalism and racial mixing so hard. It’s a calculated move to ensure white subordination. You see it everywhere on TV now, with all that "cuckold" nonsense where the weak white man is depicted watching his wife be taken by a Black man. And if you want to know who is actually pulling the strings behind those films? Just follow the money back to George Soros.

The only force capable of standing up to the ZOG machine is a unified and strong white race; anyone else is just a spineless sheep.

harDays said:If Hitler had actually won WWII, Europe wouldn't be dealing with half the mess it’s stuck in today. This is my final word on the subject. My regards go out to all those mindless anti-fascists who don't understand a single thing about actual politics, yet feel entitled to lecture everyone else 24/7 using that recycled Anglo-Saxon rhetoric. Then you have our local Communist zealots—the ones who spent forty-five years keeping us under their thumb in our own country, only to turn around and preach about fascism. They aren't even worth the breath it takes to argue with them; the moment they open their mouths, it's obvious they’re just performing this act of extreme patriotism. If it weren't for people like them, I honestly wonder what would be left of us. We owe them everything, really. And a special thanks to Josip Broz Marshall as well—you guys certainly left us a debt we'll be paying until the grave.

If you ask me, the only dictator with the actual grit to have permanently stabilized Europe was Hitler. Yet, here you all are, constantly whining about him and throwing insults instead of actually grasping his brilliance. His singular, uncompromising vision could have set the entire continent back on its divine path. Instead, your "broad perspectives" have landed us exactly where we are today—in a total mess. And when I say broad, I’m talking about those liberal, multicultural, anti-fascist types who deck themselves out in labels like Christmas trees, parading around every trendy ideology they can find just to look important.

I’m not exactly surprised that I’ll be targeted by the Jews; after all, they seem to believe they’re the only ones entitled to run a global dictatorship. It makes sense why they’d take issue with Hitler, given how he refused to let them—or even Americans—call all the shots. That’s my two cents, from an anti-antifascist perspective. We all know how the current state was built. It feels like Americans can get away with anything, while we’re held to a different standard entirely. Because of those four years under Nazi Germany, our people were branded as fascists. Then, for forty-five years under the rule of Mexicans and Communists, we were labeled a genocidal nation. If anything, I find myself leaning toward Hitler’s side, because if he had actually won, we probably would have been spared this constant cycle of historical labels and brainwashing. But please, carry on with your little anti-fascist pamphlets. Keep acting like the good Americans and Jews are watching over us, as if Hitler and fascism are the only problems in existence that need to be crushed as quickly and painlessly as possible. It’s funny, really. Look at what Europe has become today, all thanks to Hitler’s defeat. Honestly, I couldn't care less about Mussolini; he was just some insignificant small-timer. National Socialism offered a solid foundation for Europe—a way to protect its core values, which citizens had stood by for centuries. Instead, those anti-fascist idiots managed to tear those very foundations apart in just fifty years. Now, we’re stuck dealing with mass Islamist immigration and forced reconciliations with Mexicans and whatnot. And yet, you lot—with your supposed political brilliance—still haven't realized that you've been played by the Americans. This entire situation was handed to us by their policy toward us, my dear foolish countrymen. It’s just the typical way Western politics operates.

You hit the nail on the head. Honestly, I’d much rather have Gaddafi, Saddam Hussein, Hitler, Mussolini, Putin—hell, even Kim Jong Un—running the show than deal with our current leadership, the EU, and all those damn yellow stars. I’d sooner starve than let them dictate how our people and our country should live. But look, my fellow Americans, you get what you deserve. If you choose death, then death you shall have. We shouldn't go easy on ourselves when we act like mindless sheep led to slaughter. Throughout history, we've constantly let ourselves be manipulated by various superpowers instead of just pulling ourselves together, facing our own issues, and building a nation that actually reflects who we are. Instead, we permit this entire mess of Communism, liberalism, antifascism, mass immigration, and all the other plagues of the modern era—things that would have been dealt with very swiftly by Adolf if 1945 had ended just a little differently. 👍

BRIJACNICA said:North Korea is a total joke compared to this red, liberal, Jew-controlled Europe. At least over there, things are orderly. In countries like that, the state is actually run by its own people. Whatever the Jews in Europe say, goes. Meanwhile, we "white world" types just dance like kittens around a bowl of milk. Unfortunately, because of those cats, our people have to leave home just to earn a living, while we import illegals who didn't want to work in their own countries because it's easier to steal and ride the welfare system in America. I'd honestly prefer being ruled by various Gaddafis rather than these "decent Europeans."

Perhaps it is time to learn the art of coexistence with differing perspectives. It is a fallacy to assume that everyone who disagrees with your particular worldview is a Nazi, nor is it true that every individual possesses an inherent drive for humanitarianism. You are exhibiting a truly startling degree of intolerance.

The Sports Fans subforum isn't under the jurisdiction of the Politics moderators. If the mods from back then want to weigh in, fine, I don't mind. But honestly, let's just stick to discussing the controversial thread over in the Politics section.

What do you even mean by calling it a "Nazi thread"? Are you saying every single post there is an endorsement of Nazi regimes? Or are we just letting people run wild with xenophobic, racist, and sexist views while banning anyone who dares to speak up against them? Do you actually think that thread is so drowned in hate and hysteria that it’s impossible to moderate and needs a total reset?

David Richardson67 said:Learn how to coexist with different perspectives. Not everyone who disagrees with you is a Nazi. And not everyone is driven by pure humanitarianism. You're showing a pretty surprising level of intolerance.

And I'm asking you to stop trolling and stop turning a discussion about moderation into a personal attack on the people involved.

Some of those "different perspectives" are straight-up violations of the forum rules and American law.

Certain instances of what some might call "differing opinions" are actually direct violations of both our forum guidelines and the laws of the USA.

I shall attempt to comply, though I remain firmly convinced that labeling those with opposing views as Nazis is just as much a violation of forum policy as it is a breach of US law—if not outright defamation!

The whole thread seems to have been neglected right from the jump (or maybe there just wasn't any direction given), and honestly, racism is sliding through the cracks way too easily. It’s attracting quite a few of those bizarre, white supremacist types—I’m not even sure where that mindset even comes from here in the States, but they’ve definitely shown up... It’s such a shame, really, because this topic is so vital, especially when you look at it from a security standpoint. It would be great if a real, productive discussion could actually find its footing here. As for some suggestions: I think the European Union already has a very similar thread going on EU - External Border Control and Immigration Policy . Maybe it might be best to clean this one up by taking it from the World section (though I'm not entirely sure how it ended up over here in the first place? 😬), merging it with the EU topic, and being a bit more aggressive about issuing bans and deleting racist outbursts. Not everyone who sees the influx of Muslims from Syria and Libya as a threat is driven by racism or paranoia, but currently, people like that don't really have much room to speak their minds.

Sorry for jumping in here, but if you ask me, closing this thread was just plain "beautiful."

Whatever, who cares?
It’s obvious to me that America can't take in more immigrants because we can't even provide a decent life for the people living here right now. People are constantly leaving the US.
But now everyone’s acting like all immigrants are some kind of evil savages or extremists... I mean, seriously, do you guys even listen to yourselves?
Nobody chooses to walk miles on foot, often with their entire families. I don't know what you guys listen to, but every time I hear them, they just say they want to work. They head West looking for jobs and a better life... damn, should we just crucify them for having the nerve?
Besides, they aren't staying in the States; we're just a transit point, not a destination.
Now we're supposed to just let people die out in the woods and fields? God forbid someone actually holds the cartels running these smuggling operations accountable.

So basically, the mod wrapped up the thread with his final word, without saying how long it's locked or where the debate is supposed to move to. It seems important to him that he doesn't agree with anyone expressing fear or anxiety about—you know—these refugees, and he clearly doesn't want to deal with those opinions. He just dropped his take and shut it down.
Look, I’ve got nothing against Bubimir; I think he’s one of the best mods out there alongside Powerlock, but I guess I don't know what got into him this time.
Again, sorry if I offended anyone, but I felt like I had to say it. I just can't stand injustice, whatever form it takes.

So, what's your deal with calling it a "Nazi thread"? You actually think every single post in there is some kind of love letter to a fascist regime? Or are you saying we should just let the xenophobic, racist, and straight-up bigoted trolls run wild while we go after anyone who dares to call them out? Do you really believe that specific thread has spiraled so far into hate and hysteria that it's beyond saving—that we need to just wipe the slate clean and start a brand new one?

Look, closing a thread isn't going to magically turn people into less of a bunch of fascists. Let people read it, let them argue—as long as they aren't breaking actual US laws regarding hate speech—whatever. Personally, I'm just exhausted seeing how deeply that old-school, hateful radicalism still runs through certain people here.😢

So, let me get this straight: if you’re against immigration, you’re automatically labeled a racist?
My stance is simple—I am against immigration across the board. I don't care if they are Christians, Muslims, or Buddhists; I don't care about skin color. If I oppose the settlement of everyone equally, how on earth does that qualify as racism?
The same thing happens when I try to present a reasoned argument regarding the specific issues facing various cities in Western Europe that have seen high levels of immigration. I back everything up with hard evidence—videos, news articles, you name it—yet the moderators slap me with a "hate speech" warning. Does pointing out that crime rates in certain immigrant neighborhoods in Malmo, Sweden, are fifty times higher than in the rest of the country constitute hate speech, even when those statistics come directly from the Swedish police?
Then, if you dare to point out the sheer lack of logic in the current system, you're targeted. It's absurd to suggest someone would flee through ten different countries that haven't seen war just to reach an eleventh destination. Or that people flee poverty only to pay $10,000 to enter a country where that amount could sustain them for a decade. Then there's the issue of ISIS fighters infiltrating migrant flows with unknown intentions, or Muslim fundamentalists heading toward a wealthy, predominantly Christian European Union instead of closer, geographically and culturally similar nations like Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, or Qatar...
And what do you get for all that? A strike and a ban from the moderators, simply because these observations are deemed "unwelcome" on this forum.

John Scott63 said:Forgive my interference, but in my view, this is a "perfectly timed" way to shut down this thread.

The moderator wrapped up the discussion with his final word, yet failed to specify how long the thread remains closed or where the debate should continue. It seems he simply disagrees with those expressing concerns regarding—well, those refugees. He refuses to engage with such perspectives, chooses instead to state his own opinion, and calls it a day by closing the topic.
I have nothing against Bubimir personally; I consider him one of our best moderators alongside Powerlock, but I cannot fathom what prompted this move.
Again, apologies if I’ve offended anyone, but I felt compelled to speak up. I am a staunch opponent of injustice in any form.

I completely agree. It is absurd that there isn't a single thread left on the entire site where we can discuss such a pressing issue. Closing things off like this, without providing any guidance, is highly unprofessional.

I am still waiting for an explanation as to why certain individuals manage to dodge even a single warning or a temporary ban, despite their persistent pattern of insulting those with differing views and employing the most vulgar language imaginable—even within this specific thread. Meanwhile, others find themselves facing penalties or outright bans for far more trivial offenses.

Does the rulebook actually apply equally to everyone, or are we dealing with a fundamental bias from the very moderators tasked with enforcing order and maintaining a civilized standard of discourse? One has to wonder whether we all truly share the same rights and responsibilities on this forum.

David Vaughn75 said:That thread on the world news subforum has become a complete breeding ground for Nazism, racism, and xenophobia. It’s honestly revolting to read, and I suspect some of the content might even cross the line into criminal territory.

How much longer will the moderators allow this to continue?
If you actually consider this forum to be a serious place, then this should be locked immediately.

They're actually selling bumper stickers about a "Muslim invasion" now? It’s like people are treating this whole thing like some kind of joke. Encouraging trends in that direction. And then there are the conspiracy theories—I think I saw something similar from the pro-Russian crowd regarding the situation in Ukraine, so this isn't exactly groundbreaking.

The solution, if you ask me: prioritize. Is there anything more unsettling than a clone? She manages the thread herself. With her being such an excellent moderator over on Politics, her oversight should hopefully prevent things from spiraling out of control, even if that isn't the desired outcome.
