Honestly, I’m just now wrapping my head around this whole thing too, but from what I can gather, it’s basically this big humanitarian race featuring all the NASCAR stars
Anyway, here’s the link for this year's preview so you can go ahead and check it out if you want

Actually, this doesn't really have anything to do with NASCAR. The cars are totally different—they drive on dirt, and drivers from all sorts of other series jump in...

Ah, I finally sat down to watch the INDYCAR race in Detroit, and honestly, my soul feels at peace now. I don't know about you all, but it didn't seem nearly as bad to me, even with those cracks in the track surface.
If nothing else, maybe Power won't be lagging so far behind the pack anymore, especially since we're heading toward those ovals where he usually struggles to find his rhythm.
The next one is already happening this Saturday in Texas—it's the night race, the Firestone 500, covering 228 laps.

I mean, fair enough, but there's a huge chunk of NASCAR drivers in the mix, which makes it pretty fun to watch them tackle a completely different environment, plus Kyle Busch actually took the win.

INDYCAR is hitting the track today (well, technically tomorrow) at 3:00 AM. Is anyone else planning on pulling an all-nighter to catch the live action?
#248 ·
NASCAR is hitting Daytona International Speedway this weekend. Just remember to add an hour to adjust for the local time zone if you want to catch the races.

Who’s tuning in for qualifying and the main event? http://www.itv.com/btcc/live/ You'll just need to grab an expat shield to deal with the IP restrictions.
Looks like we might get some Rain. 🙂

I totally missed the live broadcast because it was like 2:30 in the morning here, and honestly, who wants to be awake then? So I just hunted down whatever clips and highlights I could find after the fact.

Actually, scratch that—no rain in sight. It’s beautiful and sunny out here; honestly, it couldn't be any better, at least for the moment.
In that first race, the Honda drivers managed to edge out the BMW crew.
#256 ·
That explains why Plato managed to grab a spot on the podium during the second race.
And once again, Ford secures a flawless 1-2 finish.

I basically made a point of not watching.🙂
I literally passed out the second I saw he wasn't there. Man, that guy is so entertaining it’s actually maddening.🤣
