I’ve run into a bit of a headache here—hoping someone might have some insight
So, I picked up a brand new battery today. It showed up about 30% charged and seemed to be functioning fine initially, but the second I actually tried to charge it, everything went sideways. The charging icon just flickers for maybe ten seconds and then completely freezes. Even though the display still insists it’s charging, the percentage stays stuck at 30%, the icon stops moving, and that's basically it—nothing happens.
To be honest, I’m using a generic universal charger because my original one kicked the bucket a while ago—so, I'm honestly torn between whether the issue lies with the battery itself or if this cheap charger is simply failing me.
If anyone has any advice or even a wild guess, please let me know. I'd really appreciate it.
