There are two threads currently on Reddit

&

And they both revolve around the same thing—Frank and a bit of Trump...

It’s the classic scenario, really—someone comments on a press release, which happens all the time in the politics section. This particular news item just doesn't sit right with Frank's worldview, so he goes ahead and scrubs it.
When I try to respond to a post by Trump—using a YouTube clip as an example—and counter it with a link to this specific news story, my post gets deleted.

So, basically, this news story—which has been picked up by several major media outlets—isn't allowed to exist on Reddit, nor can we discuss it... which, if you think about it, is just straight-up censorship.

Your defense of the moderators is pretty uninspired... honestly, you could probably use the same canned response for 90% of the complaints people have.

Instead of just laying down the law and cleaning house with those mods.

The management's stance on both issues is final. They can call it "justifying themselves" if they want—especially if the answer didn't go the way people hoped—but the decision stands. We don't allow new threads to be opened just to drag up settled matters here.

Exactly.
