Connected to the internet, but nothing's loading

Hey, I’ve been dealing with this absolute nightmare for about 5 months now. It’s driving me insane—honestly, I’m right on the verge of just wiping the whole damn computer and starting from scratch.

The headache started the second I switched over to using Wi-Fi, and even now that I’m using mobile broadband, the exact same crap keeps happening.
Back when I was staying at my old place and using a wired LAN connection via Ethernet 🙂, everything worked perfectly fine.

Basically, I'll be browsing or whatever, and out of nowhere, my laptop just loses all ability to load a single webpage, run BitTorrent, or do anything else that requires a signal. It’s like I’m being kicked off the web entirely, but here’s the kicker: my computer still insists it’s connected. Everything looks totally fine on the status bar, telling me I'm online, yet nothing will actually load. It’s completely useless.

The only way to fix it? A full reboot. Once I restart, everything goes back to normal like nothing ever happened... which is infuriating.

I’ve tried every trick in the book. Scanned for viruses, double-checked all my drivers, set my TCP/IP settings to automatic, killed the firewall, turned off the antivirus... nothing works. Absolutely nothing. The only way I get my internet back is by resetting the laptop. It’s like the universe is conspiring against me every time this happens.

btw, I'm running Windows 7 ultimate

Only after a full system restart can I access the internet again. It is almost as if the machine is intentionally refusing to reconnect once this state occurs.

By the way, I am running Windows 7 Ultimate.

I would appreciate some guidance because I am truly at my wit's end. 😢

Don't take this personally, but I had to say it: either make a decision and wipe the drive now, or wait until you're completely driven to madness before you finally pull the trigger.😁

hahaha, man, I totally screwed myself up there.... when I used the word "reset" at first, I actually meant I was planning on doing a complete reinstall of Windows—which I haven't done yet, and honestly, it'd be a massive pain. 🙂

Then later on, I was just talking about a simple restart, like when I shut my laptop down and turn it back on.

Basically, my tech skills are absolute zero right now... 🙂

Honestly, don't sweat it. This kind of thing happens to the best of us.
Whether you're downloading huge torrent files, the connection just drops, or the signal gets super weak...
Your Zbleso router might just be acting up.
Next time, just give the router a quick reset and that should fix it right up.

By the way, did you actually secure your Wi-Fi?
Have you double-checked to make sure nobody else is piggybacking on your network?
Because if they are, that could definitely be why you keep getting kicked off.

It is highly probable that your RAM is becoming saturated. Application settings and cached data rarely clear themselves out automatically once you navigate away from a page.
Try performing a clean reinstallation of your browsers. (And don't forget Internet Explorer).
Furthermore, as previously noted above, your router is also susceptible to freezing up.
It isn't an everyday occurrence, but it does happen.
