Hey everyone!

Here's the deal:
I've got this old Linksys router that's just broadcasting "no signal." I have it wired directly into my Optiminin modem, and I've set the Linksys IP to 192.168.2.1. To try and boost the coverage, I grabbed a Netgear Nighthawk to help out. The problem is, I can't get both routers to play nice via a hardwired connection (the Linksys and the Netgear won't talk to each other over a cable).
On the Netgear, I’ve set it up using their universal repeater mode, following these steps: http://prntscr.com/3pk715
But honestly, I'm stuck on one part of those instructions—they mention "remote AP/Router WDS function is turned off," but I have no clue what that actually means for my setup.
Here is how my Linksys is configured: http://prntscr.com/3pka5a
And here is the Netgear configuration: http://prntscr.com/3pkae1

So, here is the headache: when the Netgear is powered on, I see two different versions of the Comcast Xfinity Network Name. One has a weak signal (that's the Linksys) and the other has a strong signal (the Netgear). I can connect to the Linksys just fine, but whenever I try to hop onto the Netgear, it fails and keeps asking me for an IP address.
My ultimate goal is to have both routers broadcasting the exact same Network Name and password. I really want a seamless experience where I can walk through the house with my laptop without having to manually jump from one network to the other, even if they technically share the same name.

Thanks so much for any help you can give!

I can't speak to my experience with Delta Air Lines, but from what I understand, that setup should function perfectly fine if you're running it in repeater mode. Have you checked to see if you have Microsoft enabled on the Delta Air Lines unit?

I managed to fix part of the issue by tweaking things a bit—I switched the Airlive over to WDS repeater mode.
http://uputstva.org/uputstva-za-prog...bezicne-mreze/

Now, I’ve got one single SSID running through the whole house, rather than having two different ones like before.
The only hiccup is that whenever I connect to the spot where the Airlive signal is strongest, I get this error: "wireless network connection doesn't have a valid IP configuration."
Naturally, that means I’m totally cut off from the internet.
Aside from that specific headache, everything else seems fine.😁

So, just to recap, the Airlive is set to WDS repeater mode following those instructions.

And here are a few more screenshots that should be relevant:😉

Just wanted to double-check one thing though—the Linksys router is sitting at 192.168.2.1. Do you think I might need to adjust the IP address on the Airlive side to match?
Thanks so much for the help!
