How do I open .pak files?

The title says it all. Does anyone actually know how to open or unpack .pak files? I've already tried 7-Zip and WinRAR to no avail. I've searched everywhere for a solution but came up empty-handed, so here I am asking you people.

It seems like the first page you shared always displays "File View Pro" regardless of which extension is selected. As for that second link: the free software versions don't actually function, and everything else requires a paid subscription—meaning I can't even test them since there isn't a trial period available.

You can use the link above to grab CorelWinzip, which should let you open up that archive without any trouble. It comes with a trial version if you just want to test it out first.

It isn't working.

I don't know, WinRAR always just worked for me when I tried opening stuff.

It keeps throwing an error message whenever I try to open it. The file itself has to be fine, otherwise the game wouldn't even run in the first place.

Maybe try using Trident to figure out what file format you're actually dealing with...

I assume this isn't supposed to be functioning this way.
The page lists several different .pak file types, though I'm already aware they are game asset packages.

That would mean the file format doesn't even match a single one of the 5,313 types we have in the database... turns out nothing works quite like you think it will...
Just try searching for the game title on Google and see if you can pull some data from there...

Come on, be a pal and share what you figured out... if you actually cracked the code, someone else here might be stuck in the exact same spot. It’d be a huge favor.

I simply followed the advice given by ironcyclist58; I searched Google for the game title plus "extract pack," which led me straight to a massive collection of gaming forums where users host their own custom extractors—in my case, specifically for Aeon.
