When is the next site update coming?

I have a quick question for the admin and everyone else running the show here: do you have any actual plans—and I mean real plans—to refresh and modernize this forum? I was just sitting here thinking about how this place has stayed exactly the same for what feels like an eternity.
And don't even get me started on the image limits; being restricted to files under 10kb is honestly embarrassing by today's standards. It feels like we’ve been teleported back to the early 90s, struggling through the days of dial-up modems.

And if it could just stop lagging every five seconds. 😢

Maybe when some actual competition shows up with a decent user base, and the CEO finally decides to open up the wallet. But since neither of those things is happening anytime soon, I guess you just have to deal with it. 😁

This site is never going to see a real update. Anderlon is just treating this platform like his own personal piggy bank; he couldn't care less about you, me, or the community, let alone how the interface looks or what kind of updates we actually need. As far as he's concerned, this is just passive income on autopilot. Am I right, Nica?

Seriously, just grab an adblocker already; I honestly can't wrap my head around how anyone manages to browse the web without one, haha

As for this forum, I reckon things will stay pretty much like this for a long while, especially if you look at the state of affairs in the country right now—it’s like nobody actually gives a damn about service quality when they can just focus on squeezing out every last cent while putting in the absolute bare minimum effort, typical American politics, I guess

The last time this forum got a serious facelift was when the whole thing completely crapped out... somewhere around late 2002 😬
So, yeah, expect the exact same thing to happen when the server inevitably dies again...
