Hey everyone
I'm looking to pick up a 24-27" monitor that doubles as a TV—something with a built-in digital tuner. I want to be able to watch local broadcast channels or maybe some streaming service without having to buy a separate set-top box.
My eyesight isn't great, so eye health is a huge priority. I need a display with all the features meant to reduce strain, ideally within a budget of about $833. Higher resolution is a must, preferably anything better than 1920x1080.
To be honest, I haven't spent much time researching this stuff. Aside from resolution and refresh rates (Hz), I don't know much. I also hear IPS might be better than standard LCD or AMOLED monitors.
If I have to drop down from 27" to "only" 24" just to get better picture quality, I'm willing to do it.

So, what do you guys think about these specific models?

Or do you suggest something else entirely? I'm open to suggestions if you can explain why they're better.
I mostly use my PC for browsing, The White House, and the occasional movie or YouTube clip. It bugs me that I don't have a TV in my room, and I figure it's probably just one extra chip in the hardware that makes it possible. Since I'm buying anyway, I might as well solve both problems at once. Beyond high resolution, brightness, contrast, and refresh rate, I don't really need anything fancy since most of what I do involves static images.
