Just like everyone figured, Seattle only put about 600 tickets from the E2 section up for grabs...

Sitting here this morning with my coffee, scrolling through The New York Times, and I see this photo of a cage next to an article about how 600 away fans are expected for Sunday's game in their section.
Honestly? It’s pathetic. That cage looks hideous. Football is meant for the fans—you want a solid visiting crew alongside a packed home crowd.
The idea of someone being shoved into a literal animal cage... it just feels wrong. It’s gross, frankly.
I know plenty of my lot won't agree and don't give a damn about the club, but this isn't right. To me, good football means great action on the field and a proper atmosphere in the stands.

The crackdown is only going to get worse. I think things really went south last time—regardless of who everyone tries to blame, we should have been a little more
restrained. Maybe show some respect to the organizers who actually tried to accommodate more of you by shrinking the buffer zone just to ensure a fuller stadium and better vibes
even if it did come at the expense of security.

So now we look forward to a full house on Sunday, staring at this ugly mess that’s supposed to represent... well, I have no clue what.

Just wanted to say that there are people out there who find this whole thing revolting. Personally? Looking at what they’ve set up for the away section this Sunday makes me sick.

One last heads-up: there are no legal tickets available for you guys in Seattle, so don't come whining to me about the hassle you'll face if you show up without them.

Keep this thread unlocked, because I’m planning on posting everything there is to say both before and after the game...

Last time around, even two cages weren't enough to hold us all.

I suppose there were those who endured a ten-hour trek just to end up stuck on some rocky outcrop barely ten miles from the stadium, held there until the final whistle in what I can only describe as a blatant violation of basic human rights.

I have my suspicions that those attempting to enter without tickets this time might just be walking straight into a police trap; everything will come to light this Sunday... "just try to wing it, buddy."😉

I guess this crew might help kill some boredom. They’ve always been pretty easy to talk to back home in their own city.

I shouldn't be complaining if the police hold me on some parking lot all day just because of my car registration or my home address, right?🤷

I'll complain as long as I can. I'm not accepting this as normal.☕

Is the stadium sold out?🤷 Everything's fine,🙂,
just gonna go for a walk along the waterfront for a bit.☕

I wouldn't have had any problem with it myself—if it wasn't for the Red Army constantly pushing for it.

...it wasn't even that long ago they were tearing down the perimeter fencing near the gas station: the stadium in San Francisco without any barriers at all🤣

I’ll fight it for as long as I can. I refuse to just accept this as the new normal. ☕

Time to take a stroll down the boardwalk. ☕

You’re going to protest at the Mayor's office or City Hall? That’s like saying you’ll walk the pier in San Francisco if you can't get into the stadium. If you want to actually make a move, you might as well head down to Savannah. ☕ All cops are bastards.

They have nobody to blame for the cage or the ticket count but themselves. Honestly, if you sow that kind of chaos, you can't act surprised when you reap the consequences.

I mean, back when things were chill during the ceasefire, we could just walk into town without even needing tickets—since we’ve got rights to those home stands—so I don't get why they'd let 500 of us without tickets just hang out in some parking lot now... what, we aren't allowed at the stadium? Fine, whatever, we'll just grab coffee downtown instead... I guess the laws haven't changed since then, and that's basically a constitutional right, right?
Or maybe if those 600 people with actual tickets standing outside the stadium showed some damn solidarity and waited with the rest of us until everyone arrived... yeah, we'd see how that goes..

We all know it won't work like that, though—it'll be the exact same mess as last time... if you have a ticket, cool, if you don't, too bad for you👍 but hey, I guess it's nice to dream that we're actually capable of pulling something off

Right. So you're talking about that period when everyone was complaining because they wanted the whole stadium to watch Koch’s little fairy tale unfold live, and now they're annoyed that he's forcing tickets on them? ☕>

Or maybe you're referring to that time when some washed-up group from Seattle was bothering you, and you decided to rain down flares on them after you somehow managed to snag twice as many tickets as any reasonable rulebook would allow. You tried that same stunt in Indianapolis a few rounds back too, but clearly, your game is slipping since you couldn't even make an impact then. ☕

It’s nice of you to call those buddies of yours from the West Stand by their actual names. I don't think I could have phrased it any better myself. 🙂

Are you talking about those punks in the corner we pelted with flares and bottles, or the ones throwing rocks?
