Logitech 2.1. Z323 vs. X-230: Which one should I get?

My X-230 speakers finally gave up the ghost, so I'm looking for an upgrade.

I’ve got an offer on some Z323s, but I'm wondering if this is actually an improvement or just trading one headache for another. I was honestly loving my X-230s, so I really don't want to step down in quality.

Just a heads up, I mostly use them for gaming.
