So, I’m looking for a PC build—just the tower, no mouse, keyboard, or monitor included.

$1000Budget-wise, I’d love to stay around the $1,000 mark, but I can stretch up to $3,500 if it’s actually worth it. Definitely look for cash discounts where possible.

I'll be using it for everything, but my main goal is to run all current games and upcoming titles smoothly. It doesn't need to be maxed out on ultra settings, just playable.

Here’s what I need:
It's important that I can hook up two monitors (so I'm assuming I'll need a dedicated GPU rather than integrated graphics).
At least 4GB of RAM (though more is definitely preferred), and at least a 500GB hard drive.
I want all the components coming from the same shop, and I'd like them to assemble it for me right then and there.
Ideally, somewhere local in Chicago rather than just an online retailer.

Something extra that would be nice, though not required:
If we can fit some decent speakers into the budget, great; if not, no big deal.
IF POSSIBLE, a white case would be awesome.😁 (Not a dealbreaker, though.)
The OS doesn't matter much; I don't strictly need one.

I have a feeling I could put together a better machine myself than what most pre-built options offer, but I'm open to pre-built systems if the value is actually there.

Thanks in advance!

Personally, I’d probably go with the same GPU but with 2GB of VRAM, just to handle my dual monitors better:
