Hey everyone! 🙂

I’m posting because I’ve been dealing with something pretty weird for the last two weeks.
Normally, I’m someone who can't stand the heat, but lately, I've been feeling this strange "heat" inside my head that eventually spreads to my arms and legs. On top of that, my heart feels like it skips a beat every now and then, though it doesn't last long. My ears also feel weird, almost like there's constant drumming going on—could that be high blood pressure? Usually, my BP is quite low, around 90/60, so this is definitely out of character for me. I recently had blood work done and everything looked fine, and my thyroid tests came back normal too. Aside from the heat and the ear sensation, I feel okay otherwise and can go about my day normally. One thing I have noticed, though, is frequent headaches. Since I'm only 22, I highly doubt it's menopause. 😁 I’ve been wondering if it’s one of two things: First, I’m really sensitive to weather changes, and these temperature swings are killing me. Second, I have scoliosis, so I'm wondering if my spine could be causing this heat sensation. Has anyone else dealt with these weird symptoms? Any ideas what might be going on? :/

Thanks in advance for any help!

🙂

I can't believe I'm actually sitting here typing this out, but I feel like someone needs to say it. You ever have one of those days where you’re just staring at your screen, completely drained, and you realize how much energy you’ve been dumping into things that don't even matter? It’s kind of wild when you stop to think about it. I was grabbing a coffee near downtown Seattle the other day—just one of those quiet mornings where the mist is hanging heavy over the streets—and I found myself watching people rush around, looking so stressed over nothing, and it hit me. We spend so much time chasing these tiny, insignificant wins, thinking they’re going to change our lives, while the actual substance of what we’re doing just slips through our fingers. It’s easy to get caught up in the noise, especially with how everything moves so fast these days, but honestly, if you don't take a second to breathe and look at the bigger picture, you're just running on a treadmill that isn't plugged into anything. Anyway, just some random late-night rambling, I guess. Just something that was rattling around in my head. kaže:
Hey everyone, what's up? 🙂

So, I’m checking in because I’ve been dealing with this one thing that’s been absolutely eating at me for the last two weeks.
So, look, I’m usually the kind of person who starts shivering the second the thermostat dips below seventy, basically living in hoodies and thick socks year-round. But honestly? This heatwave that’s been hitting us for the last two weeks has completely flipped my script. It’s getting to the point where... So, I’ve been dealing with this weirdly specific sensation lately—kind of like this sudden, intense heat blooming right in the middle of my head. It starts there, just a localized flash of warmth, but as the day drags on, it feels like it slowly creeps outward until my whole body is feeling it, especially my arms and legs. It’s this strange, spreading feverish feeling that isn't even an actual temperature spike, just this internal heatwave that follows me around. Has anyone else ever dealt with this kind of thing?I also get this feeling that... So, I’ve been having this thing where my heart just... skips a beat or feels like it’s doing a little glitchy dance for a second, you know? It’s like a sudden, weird flutter that catches me off guard, but it passes almost as quickly as it showed up. Nothing crazy or sustained, just these tiny, momentary hiccups in my rhythm that leave me wondering what's actually going on under the hood.. Osim toga, u I’ve got this really bizarre sensation in my ears lately, honestly... it feels like there’s some kind of rhythmic drumming going on inside my head. It's just super weird.I’m honestly sitting here wondering if this could be a sudden spike in blood pressure. It’s kind of throwing me for a loop because I’ve pretty much lived my entire life with low blood pressure—and when I say low, I mean a steady 90/60. I actually went in for some blood work recently and everything came back totally fine. I even had my TSH checked to see if my thyroid was acting up, but that turned out to be perfectly normal too. Aside from this intense heat and this really weird sensation in my ears, I don’t feel sick or anything; I’m still getting through my usual daily routine without much trouble. One thing I have been noticing lately, though, is... Man, I’ve been dealing with these headaches way too often lately, and honestly, it’s starting to get pretty old. It feels like one of those things that just keeps creeping up on you when you least expect it.I’m only 22, so I honestly don't think it's some kind of weird hormonal surge or anything like that. 😁 I had a feeling this was going down to two main things. First off, I’m a massive weather geek, and these constant hot-and-cold swings lately have been absolutely wrecking my system. Second, I’ve been dealing with some back issues—scoliosis is a real pain—and I can't quite figure out if that might be why I'm feeling so incredibly overheated. Has anyone else here dealt with these weird symptoms? I'm trying to wrap my head around what's actually going on. :/

Thanks in advance for the help, everyone!

You definitely need to follow through on the diagnostic stuff they already started—did you happen to wear one of those Holter monitors for your heart rhythm, or maybe do that 24-hour urine collection test? It’s probably worth sitting down with an internist too, and honestly, you should probably loop in an endocrinologist just to be safe.
I was wondering, when you're dealing with that heat and your heart starts racing like crazy, does everything hit you all at once? Like, do you get those headaches or that weird "thumping" sensation in your head right alongside it, or do these things kind of show up on their own schedule?
It’d definitely be a huge help if you could let me know what your blood pressure readings have been looking like while you're dealing with all those symptoms, and maybe what it sits at when you're just chilling out and resting, too.
Do you ever find yourself running a bit of a fever when things start getting intense like that?
